The fortnite jimmy bit is so funny because it's two grown men pretending to not know that the other is pretending but Jerma still gets social anxiety from it
putting the sound effects in the background to convince a hypothetical Fortnite jimmy in the chat that he was in an Internet cafe was the icing on the cake
I mean even if it wasn't a real kid, but someone in their 20s or 30s I would feel a bit proud of myself for befriending them. If it's a kid, the name might garner hate outside of Fortnite, and if Fortnite is the first game he really got into then it's understandable to represent it elsewhere but also not understand why he gets hate in other games for it. The kid might or might not get along with his peers, which I relate to so I feel for the kid. If it's a 20 to 30yo and isn't a troll or catfish, then I'd feel the same way towards him. He most likely doesn't get along with his peers and the only ones that treat him kindly are much younger than him. In either case it is a pitiable situation, so do treat people online kindly as you might be the only one online that shows them any sort of hospitality. Kids get that xbox live toxicity from both being yelled at online for having a high pitched voice or because they think it's cool to act that way. If you let a kid join you in a game and are friendly with them, you will likely find the kid to be far more enjoyable to play with than any other random older people online. The kid will feel more confident that they made friends with an older person, and you will feel better for giving the kid protection from the online idiots. Sorry, for the long comment/ramble. I tend to do this when I find a good comment to contribute a discussion about.
i hate to burst your bubble, but the reason you haven't seen them before is because jerma clips are usually taken from parallel universes. no one can usually tell because of the abundance of jermoments in our timeline.
bro the fortnite jimmy part when he went “why are you so nice to me” was too accurate, i play games with my little brother’s friends a lot and they all say that 😭😭 ppl are genuinely so mean to kids online it’s crazy
Whatever the hell Jerma was doing with fortnite jimmy is literally how I've interacted with almost every stranger I've ever met, except I would have already run away and uninstalled the game 1 minute in. Or start crying, probably. That was literally so painful to watch I almost cried *for* Jerma.
I'm almost certain he was playing it a bit up, since Jerma is normally a very social person. Whether he believed it was actually a kid or not, he wrote in a way to set up an awkward and funny situation.
@@Ivanhoenn 29:52 on Jump King - Highway to Hell. he said it cause he was so frustrated about how people find things like jump king entertaining but the clip is so funny in context lol
I'm in a Fortnite Jimmy moment rn. This guy on Reddit DMed me and I said I'd continue our convo today (I have awful social anxiety). It was cool talking to him but I ignored him so I just put in my bio that I uninstalled Reddit, I have no clue what to do lmaoaoao
Probably better to just say straight up that your anxiety kicked up and you panicked. If he's not understanding you probably don't want to talk to him that much anyway.
in my experience, people are generally understanding when i admit that i'm not ignoring them, i'm just socially anxious and inconsistent with responding to messages. sounds like this person finds you interesting! and if they're a decent person too, they'll see you're worth the wait.
I love how Jerma’s idea of New England is only Boston. Like he managed to say “maple syrup is a Vermont thing not a New England thing” while also thinking duck boats represent all of New England
Jimmy made Jerma the Asocial Andy so uncomfortable he literally travelled to a different part of the country and considered quitting his job to expedite the convo.
@@Hdehshzyhwjw it would be a reasonable comment if this video had been up for some time when he commented, but he commented when this video was just up for like 5 minutes
@@simonlutgens Didn't even realize this got so many replies, anyway I was going down a jerma rabbit hole and just didn't expect to get to a comp which had so little views since the comps i was watching all had over 100k+, wasn't really thinking about the time it was posted since i was too busy laughing at the jerma clips anyway
i love when he played lego star wars and he did this psycho laugh after jar jar binks impression. idk if its in the video because i have not watched it yet.
i love the jerma bit where he pretends to be a normal human person being but is actually a horrible utterly terrying unsightly unsound mindboggling eldritch horror scheming to consume our his viewers souls and bodies which i would love please do atrocious things to my soul and body jerma yes shove me in the meat grinder holy shit 😩😩😩😩😩
sorry man, i cant pay attention to the funny jerma moments because im too bewildered by the “cheese hook #8” text in the top corner of the fishing game.
