If Roman Wilson gets 1000 yards, just 66% of what Puka Nacua got last year, the Steelers are winning a lot of games. With the new offensive line, Harris and Warren will likely get 125 yards a game just on the ground. There will also be about another 500 yards from passing to the RBs. So that is over 1,250 each. Pickens will likely do better than his 1200 plus. And then Muth and the TEs will get their pound of flesh up the middle with 700 to 900, assuming last year was an outlier. Add an 40 yard a game WR2 for another 680 yards... That is 6200 yards of offense, putting the Steelers near the Ravens 2023 numbers, with a better inside linebacker group than we had last year. If the Steelers could get 60 offensive snaps a game with a 50/50 run to pass, and Russ can put up 66% pass completion with a 8 yards per attempt pass rate, his numbers last year and career average, this is possible. My question on Roman Wilson is can he handle the increased press coverage and NFL DB strength. His tape and 40 and 10 show he can create separation at the top of the route and on inside routes. But will the DBs delay him at the start or can he use his quickness to break off. His blocking during runs can perhaps weardown and disorient his press matchup.
