@@SimoneDaley-ke1qi I'm not sure, but apparently MJ didn't want his family to be dependent on him, it seems like he'd want them to be successful on their own.
This Jermaine Jackson song is on my phone's playlist. Thank God my memory is still operating. "I Dream, I Dream" is NEVER played ANYWHERE! No regrets except for all the folks who have missed out on this one. Especially this video. One thing Michael, Janet and Jermaine have in common is their high-quality music videos. Especially at 3:42! Those dancers go into overdrive. I don't usually pay attention to the dancers but, those two young ladies are 'tearin' it up'.
It's from his last album, it was sabotaged and ended up getting him blackballed from the industry which pretty much killed his album before it released. It's unfortunate cuz it's a great ass album very underrated
Me either, never ever heard of this song. I always, ALWAYS loved his voice. He is EXTREMELY underrated as a singer. OOOOOOOOH CHILD AND HE WAS SO DAMN FINE TOO!!!!
I Love This Wonderful Song Full Of Love, Passion, Purity Of Soul, With Energetic Performance By Jermaine Jackson. I Never Heard Him Attentively Before, Cos I Only Watched Michael & Now I Notice & Listen To All His Romantic Songs, One By One & I Am Thoroughly Enjoying It. He Is A Hidden Gem. 😊🎼🎵🎶🎤📻🎸🎻🎸👍👍👍👍👍.

When I need good music, I remember to play some Jermaine Jackson. This, and 'You like me don't you'! Watching the dancers do their steps has me realizing that every generation has people that love to dance. At 3:42 and at 3:49 of this video is when I started sat up and look hard at their dancing.
@Bryskens ... I have to ask you: What color is the sky in "I-HATE-NEW-JACK-SWINGISTAN? Bruh, just because you "decide" something is true does not change reality. Sorry. The rhythm track of this song is most certainly and obviously New Jack Swing. If you don't hear it, then I can't help you, man. This song IS heavily influenced by R&B, for sure. I'll give you that. (Just look at the heavy-hitters involved: Kayo, Simmons, 'Face, L.A.) ..and also influenced by synthpop (with all those sparkling keyboards!) and then, as you cite, Soul (the bassline and vocals). But the rhythm is solidly-PURE-New Jack Swing, to its core. It was produced in that style deliberately, in fact. (L.A. and 'Face followed trends, too, you know!) But your assertion that this is not New Jack Swing is completely unfounded and obviously steeped in bias. You don't like New Jack Swing, but you like Jermaine and La'Face. That's fair. But better-and wiser-than telling us that this song is NOT New Jack Swing is that you acquiesce to your bias, and admit to liking at least ONE New Jack Swing song: "I Dream, I Dream" by Jermaine Jackson. In the face of the preponderance of the evidence that this IS, in fact, a NJS song, anything else paints you as a fool.
No disrespect, but in my honest opinion this has gotta be the best Jermaine Jackson song of all times. The melody the lyrics and the funky ass groove. LA and Babyface hooked his ass up on this joint.
yes...man LiamWadie its deserve more even MORE...this is a really good song...still sound great to day, 20 years later after it was first realesed. Some time people act strange...wanna go on itune and purchase it now...i mean now
Janet's dancer Tish Oliver is in this video. Many don't know it, but when Janet met John Singleton to shoot Poetic Justice he suggested Tish get to live with Janet so Janet could find inspiration for her character. And Tish was somewhat who Janet molded elements of her character Justice after.
I dream, I dream I'm so exicted with the thought of touching you So please don't deny me Make my wish a dream come true Ooh cause everytime I close my eyes I felt a little magic I get a little tingle in my heart So I start gettin' butterflies I love when I have it I never want this to end cause when... I dream, I dream I dream of you All day long and all day thru I dream, I dream oooh baby I dream ov you All day long I dream of you You're like a habit Can't let it go stays on my mind Girl sho nuff got to have it Keep me wanting all the time In the middle of the lonely night I kinda got addicted I felt a good rush come over me, so I Started dreamin' overtime I didn't wanna miss it I didn't wanna miss it 'cause when... Here's my heart Take my hand I'll be your girl You'll be my man So wake me up With your love Please don't stop Cause I just can't get enough Cause everytime I close my eyes I felt a little magic I get a little tingle in my heart So I start gettin' butterflies I love it when I have it I never want this to end cause when... In the middle of the lonely night I dream about you baby holding me tight I felt a rsuch comin' over me Kinda got addicted of dreamin' the dream In a world where love is hard to find I think about you cause you're one of a kind Because it's you that I want in my life I dream, I dream (×2)
