I'm VERY glad Jermaine did this interview, and answered all the "hard" questions truthfully and was VERY realistic, especially in revealing the details around the "high" costs of the Victory Tour tickets.
@@fatimahaidara5064 at first it was Don King and Joseph idea that people had to send a $130 money order to purchase 4 tickets, which was the minimum amount they could buy, then their name would be included in a lottery so if their name wasn’t selected from a random litter then they wouldn’t be able to attend. It was a disaster and got a lot of public and media pushback. After the backlash they changed it to all tickets regular price at $30 per person and MJ donated all his proceeds to charity. One of the investor promoters men lost his entire fortune and had to file bankruptcy, I think he even tried to write and beg Michael to help him but it didn’t work out and he went into a depression. It was awful. Victory Tour caused a lot of grief in the family.
I used to have the biggest crush on Jermaine. I loved his hairstyle on Showtime At The Appllo and Arsenio.Hall. That style to me fit his face. Also like his big original rounded afro when younger. Don't like this fro style on here
Why don't some of you People just shut the heck up.If you don't have something nice to say, then say nothing at all.Jermaine has never gotten the Credit that he deserves. He was and still is a great Singer.
I always have debates with Jackson 5 fans on where was the first concert the group performed and I always tell them it was in Philly and here Jermaine confirms it with saying they performed at the Spectrum.
If I was just going strictly off of visuals I woulda thought this was from 1980-81. He must have been taking a break from that greasy Jheri curl. He’s wearing an Afro like he was several years earlier.
