Castano pressed forward in every round, he absolutely believed in himself with total commitment, he "stood" and delivered with no quarter given.

One of the best skilled fights I've seen in a while. I thought Castano did enough to win but I cant take those last couple rounds from Charlo either. This was a good one indeed. Castano is a problem.

Great fight. Charlo made some good progress in the later rounds but I feel castano won. He put a lot of work in throughout the rounds and consistently kept charlo on the ropes.

It was amazing fight. To see the draw you must watch this fight several times, in round 9 Castaño was winning 6 to 3, but after rounds 10, 11 and 12 I think Charlo won it for that reason the judges gave it a draw, although the last round could go for Castaño, I think he did more to win the fight.

Wow thats one of the few times where a draw isn’t questioned by many. I don’t even know how the judges even scored that fight cus the action was back and for with both fighters trying their best to win. Absolutely the right call. Nobody deserved to lose that fight at all. What heart both fighters showed

I wonder how Charlo would handle Canelo's relentless pressure and punching power. Castano rock him several times and we all know Canelo hits twice as hard.

Charlo has crazy condition to take all those body shots and still throw with full power in those late rounds, one of the few fighters who can carry their power to the later rounds

I was rooting for Castano... and he looked like he was winning some of the early rounds... but have you ever noticed.. the fighter you are rooting for always seems to be doing more.. cause you focus on him and not the other guy... but I watched the fight over again... and it was like it was a different fight.. Jermell beat the fight out of him round by round... started sitting down on his punches from the 7th round on.. Castano was being the aggressor ... but getting counterpunched to death while most of his flurries were weaker punches on the gloves and arms of Jermell.. I'm not sure Castano did enough to win even one round against the Champ... He did much better in the first fight..

I think Castano won this fight. He had more clean hard punches and combinations.

Jermell showed up in those last 3 round, had Castano badly hurt in the 10th big round for Charlo. The fact that Castano almost got stopped in the 10th definitely put Charlo back in the fight. Can’t wait for the rematch tomorrow night !

This was truly a great fight between two brilliant combatants within which neither warrior appeared to lose strategies or strengths.I really enjoyed it and respect both.

I love Mell’s attitude when a fighter cranks it up on him, it’s like he flips a kill or be killed switch. Major props to both guys though!

Es mejor que Maidana técnicamente hablando, pero me hace acordar mucho al Chino, aguerrido corajudo, también en sus primeras peleas donde Maidana se ahogaba, se quedaba sin aire y energías, debería mejorar la parte física, y va a dar muy buenas peleas en la élite del boxeo

I remember watching this fight live and remember saying Charlo better be grateful for that draw because Castano won IMO. It was a good fight but I think I had it 7-5 Castano. They both hurt or buzzed each other but Castano controlled most of the fight but Charlo did start to close the gap. He was on the back foot all night backing up in a straight line and would not for the life of him stay off the ropes. He was head hunting and missed a lot of shots where I think he could've been more effective switching levels and throwing hooks and straights to the body. He barely went to the body at all the whole fight. His corner gave him all the right instructions but Charlo just kept backing up. A lot of Castano shots were blocked off the gloves but he was still effective. I'm ready for this rematch. I think we gonna see it play out differently this time ending in a KO.

It looked like Charlo went for a strategy to be patient and bait Castaño in, which eventually worked. It definitely cost him! Castaño hurt 'em with a few, but it seemed like Charlo never let it get out of control. It's been some great fights lately!

Great fight! I think Castano had a slight edge. This just shows that Charlo can’t go up against Canelo.

2nd time watching, Castano won easily, he threw and landed many more effective punches. This fight was rigged... Charlo through wildly, Castano backed Charlo up, most of the fight. Either the fight was rigged or boxing has the dumbest for judges... you choose. I don't think all three could be that stupid at the same time!

Castaño had a great fight, he was the aggressor majority of the fight. Great fight good to see Charlo fighting under that pressure. Both will only get better from this bout.

Great fight by both. Charlo took a lot of shots early on, came back in the later rounds, but Castano really took it to him and was on the offensive for 85% of the fight. I'd have given the split decision to Castano, but that's how it goes.

That little smirk Charlo gave at the end said it all. He was mad happy to get the draw. He most definitely lost. For whatever reason he didn’t really open up until the later rounds he was stagnant throughout the majority of the fight. Even his counters were off. Its no question he clearly lost.

Some fights just keeps you glued... And this is one of them. You wouldn't want neither to lose as both showed tremendous heart. As much as both would have wanted the win I'm happy it was a draw just because both deserved it for giving the boxing fans entertainment from start to finish. Boxing was the winner here and both fighters deserve the applause!!
