Belichick will always be the greatest... but the Mayo story is pretty cool. Really liked watching him play, being the DC, and now he'll be the HC. Very cool story.
Started the prior year in 2007 draft where 49ers traded their 2008 1st draft pick, which became the 7th pick the following year, to the Patriots to select Joe Staley. Then the Patriots on 2008 draft traded that 7th pick and 5th round pick to the Saints for their 10th pick and a 3rd round. Patriots just keep on rolling with their draft assets and got a good player for that pick while getting better selections in the later rounds.
