These Screamo comebacks have been awesome. Gospel, City of Caterpillar and JD are all absolutely killing it. Praying for Orchid, Funeral Diner and P.99 come back fully. Also would kill for another CTTS record

Haha I saw them in Orlando and got that coveted repress of seeing means more than safety! The fellas still got it and they're super nice and humble dudes. What did you think of Elisabeth colour wheel? Because They had one of the best sets I've ever seen!

After Melon started his flannel system in 2017, yellow flannels have only been given for decent 8's and above. This is one of two light 8's that got the yellow flannel - the other one was "Ways of Knowing" by Navy Blue

Honestly its their best work since their debut. Always wanted the screams to come back and it seems they've found a healthier way of doing it now (pretty they stopped due to vocal injury b4hand). HOPING TO SEE THEM LIVE

most definitely a refreshing step up in every way from the last album. even seeing them play songs from the last album live, i knew they still had it in them to make a real rager of an album, even though it wasn't quite up to snuff the last time around. they surely delivered with the gray in between and i am so glad.

Thanks for reviewing! I was in a band with the guitarist Nick called Never Again right before JD formed. We practiced in the same spot they started in, Never Again didn’t work out because i was chasing a girl and staopped going to band practice lol

Honestly, given that their comeback wasn't great I wasn't paying too much attention to their recent activity, then just blast us with this out of nowhere. This album's great, I would never have knew it was a thing if this review didn't point me towards it, so thanks for that Melon (I actually listened to it before sitting down to listen to the review.) I put it on today and I'm currently on my third listen, this thing is great.

LP is not their best but i do recommend listening to Presents and LP to have a rough idea of the progression to get to this album. also the singles released between LP and this album are AWESOME.

This is their first album with Sean from Loma Prieta on guitar, and I feel he adds a whole lot of good to the album. Also, this record sounds a lot like Ostraca, so that's another band to check out for anyone new to the genre

I listened to it the day after it came out on the train from Stamford to NYC (to pick up the limited screen print that Limited to One put out for the record). Definitely some of the best that they’ve put out. Considering seeing them again in Brooklyn this week

good review anthony i think ur compliments and critiques were spot on. i wish the band had experimented more in the middle ground between the volume levels of the main songs and interludes a little more. I think that might have added the complexity and variance necessary to really make this album a masterpiece, but it is still incredibly good and a fun listen!!

Got the chance to see Jerome's Dream in abq on their tour with Elizabeth Colour Wheel a few months ago and withoht any exaggeration at all they played one of the best live sets I've ever seen. If you get the chance to see them on tour don't think twice just go.

@shahroz khan If you like fusions of Post-Hardcore and prog you should enjoy it, the screamo vocals are gone and they added keyboards, but other than that they still go as hard as they did on TMIADW. The album cover is wack as fuck tho, I don't know what happened there.
