To this day, I can do Jerry’s trademark holler--“HAAAAAAWWWWWW!!!” Followed by, “Shoot this thang!” And find a few new best friends in a crowd of people I didn’t know.
@@castle4610 There was a southern comedian named Jerry Clower who told stories about the Ledbetter family. He probably has 30 comedy albums from a 50 year career. We would sit out at the truck on Sunday afternoons and listen to one after another. Anyways, these guys did kind of a spoof of one of his stories.
@@littlebbjesus I've heard of Clower, classic stuff. However, I'd not heard of the comedians spoofing him. I'd like to find more of their stuff. I thought these were just filmed to look retro until I read the description
My music director and I recall these awesome sketches all the time in our New Releases segments. We loved the pickin' n' grinnin', Sherman Spears (Name that Geetron) and my all-time favorite: The wedding vows.
