you just ain't lived until you have witnessed the greatest entertainer that ever lived. I seen all of them but it ain't no contest, hands down the greatest live entertainer to step onstage. So if you never saw him you flat out don't have a clue! Can a man get an AMEN to that........The Killer is at the head of the line.
Its been a long time since I left that comment here and the Killer is no longer with us RIP. Can't say I feel any different. Like him or not his ability to capture the attention of his audience and entertain them has never been equaled. Its been many years from the last show I attended at the Black Forest club in lower down town Houston outdoors. Sat on the front row and took in a great show. We had some first timers with us that were treated to something they never knew existed and practically never moved a muscle from the start to finish and they thanked us countless times thru the years for introducing them to the real deal. The Killer did not disappoint. The old Panther Hall Ball Room brought all the greats to play there. It was a famous place but I never went there. My parents went there with their friends and we watched on TV every Sat night and Bill Mack was the MC at every show, The Midnight Cowboy on WBAP on the AM radio dial heard across the country by truckers and other travelers for many years. Then took his show to Satellite Radio as the Satellite Cowboy on the Serrius XM dial. Thanks for the use of the hall. Take it home Connie.....
I know change must happen - its too bad for us - that he will not always be around - just listen to his heart and life - we are so lucky to have been there with him those early days
Jerry lee Lewis was very genuine and special great singer dancer a legend excellent piano player thats why hes called the killer rock & roll 😢😢⭐🎶🎶🙏😎rest in peace jerry lee ⭐
With these guys you never asked "why is he so famous?" The best performances were live, if they were real musicians that is. Waylon, Willy, Merle, Johnny, marty robinson, the possum (etc.) they all sounded unbelievable in person. I was born in 90, thank god for all the good footage thats coming out of the wood works these days 🎉
HE IS A LVING LEGEND........AND IF HE SHOULD GO FIRST, I WILL THANK MY GOD THAT I WAS ALIVE AT THE SAME TIME AS HE WAS SO I COULD HEAR HIS SOULFUL MUSIC......LOVE, DENNIS TROY
The greatest for sure. The so-called country music singers heard today are pitiful. One must tightly cover ones ears to even be in the same room with it. May Almighty God continue to bless Jerry Lee Lewis.
A beautiful love story. ... sad but beautiful. Jerry Lee, you sing truth and life from your heart -- such a talent. And, then you add the piano. ... love!
Jerry Lee could sing anything & it would be great , he has a great strong beautiful voice he s a Legend. He is like Elvis & took care of his Mom & Dad & family, he blessed them, that is a beautiful thing. Jerry Lee never forgot where he came from. Hell yes if he hasn't been put in the country music hall of fame what the hell is wrong with these people. God Bless you JLL & your music lives on forever....01-07-22
Jerry Lee Lewis, The KILLER, Best piano player and singer of all time !! No one even comes close to him and they never will !! I love this song and I love Jerry Lee Lewis !! R.I.P. Jerry Lee. Gone but never forgotten. ❣️ 🎹👍🎹🔥🕯️💐
Long a favorite of mine too. Notice that he forgot the lines here once and had to ad lib. Fast thinking. I know they laughed about it afterwards. Kenny sounds good on the fiddle, as always.
I like a lot of singers, but jerry lee lewis is my favorite. I listen to him more than any other singer. the one thing in my life i would have had a chance to do is seen him in concert.
So fresh faced and young before the booze and drugs got him but God stuck by him and he's ended up clean and happy. God has blessed him after a wild life 🌹 BEAUTIFUL ♥️
