The MDA Labor Day Telethon was an enchanting yearly variety show that ran for half a century. Hosted for many years by Jerry Lewis, the telethon featured top stars from the world of music, comedy, and Broadway and was like no other show on earth.
The telethon was created to help support the Muscular Dystrophy Association, which is leading the fight against muscular dystrophy. MDA dedicates itself to strength, independence and life. To learn more about MDA and to donate, please visit www.MDA.org.

Rip Taylor was one of my favorite and greatest comedians of all time. He had a Brilliant grasp on obvious funny simplistic side of comedy. Combined with wit perfect pitch. With his jokes you didn't say oh yeah i get it. Nah not with Rip. You always got the joke right away. That's what made him so funny. And his laugh was outrageous. It always made you happy. And when he used to always throw confetti when he first appeared on stage. This man loved life. Well folks i was just having feelings of happiness and i thought about him and what he meant to me. Thank you God for your gift in Rip Taylor for showing us the way and letting us know how great the gift of life is. Enjoy your lives people. Living is wonderful and if you find love my friends then you are living the ultimate dream. Thank you Rip Taylor. A toast to you. 🍷. Salute.
