Reed "experimented" with flat picking in the late seventies. Listen to his albums Texas Bound N' Flyin' and Dixie Dreams to hear him straight (or flat) pickin'. Eventually, Jerry came back to using a thumb pick and "clawin'". Jerry Reed was an American Original and one of a kind entertainer. He is missed...
Yep...The Peavey T-60 Guitar......very heavy instruments but sound and feel buttery smooth...one day to be a super collector item ,it was Peavey's first Electric Production. Jerry played these things superbly !!!!!!!! I'm keeping mine !!
@@HalfDeadGeezers wow. That’s really cool. I have one but the previous owner really messed up the body by reshaping it. So I took the electronics and installed them in a Lp Black beauty. Electronics are badass!!
GOOD GAWD, Jerry was doing some great pickin' as usual. Barbara was a fox!!!! This was the same show Jerry did a funny song called; The testimony of soddy hoe.
Jeff's Big Guitars what I was saying, cigarettes didn't kill Jerry Reed. he did . I didn't know about him having emphysema. I hear on TV cigarettes killed so n so. no they didn't. the person killed themselves by smoking.
