Just watched Unfrosted, it was fantastic. The 10 commandments joke almost killed me - tears rolling down my face and bellyache. What a cast and what great entertainment. One of the most enjoyable comedies I’ve seen and I’m not just saying that to appease the interests of Organised Milk!
I rewatched an old Pop Tart routine about how Paula Poundstone has to eat an entire box, if she eats one Pop Tart. It goes into detail for about 3 minutes. 84 minutes shorter than Unfrosted. It's her best story. Hope Paula sees this movie as a continuation of the conversation she started.
Paula got an endorsement deal as a result of that. You could send in three box tops and they'd send you a free comedy VHS tape featuring her standup comedy.
Jerry's witty/funny distinction reminds me a similar line in a Woody Alan film "If it bends, it's funny. If it breaks, it's not funny." Jerry is certainly cut from the same cloth as the Alan Alda character who speaks that line.
I always preferred unfrosted - strawberry or blueberry. I never liked the crunch that the frosting adds. Little known unexpected fact - frosted pop tarts have fewer calories than the unfrosted.
I’m watching it at work. Had to stop at the one hour mark. I must sit with my wife and watch this!❤ it’s amazing and I’m treating it like a silly episode of some series. It’s a great movie. 🎉❤
Also idk if Jim Gaffigan remembers me staring him down in NYC when he was about to go to his walk up. I’m near sighted and I was like “I swear that guy looks familiar”. Jim stopped we locked eyes awkwardly. He was waiting for me to say hi, and that I just looked away awkwardly. Good times. We had a moment.
Cinnamon Toast’ems were perfection until they sacrilegiously frosted them. If I could bring back the Cinnamon Toast’em, I’d consider my life to have been completely fulfilled.

Jim Gaffigan isn't well known here in the UK (esp compared to Jerry), so I'm still not used to hearing his name spoken. But whenever I do, it sounds like someone's saying "Jim Gaff again"
Seinfeld is an adept student of humor and can be funny in a dry, ironic way. I can relate to his exasperation humor, too. This describes his comic talent in an incredibly unfunny way.
In real life dairy farmers get very angry when activists share the cruelty of the dairy industry. They love to threaten us, that's what I felt was the truth of the movie. #Dairyisscary
Geezus.....the bombardment of promotion these days.... Seinfeld has been EVERYWHERE the past week or two........ honestly, makes me NOT want to watch the dang movie!

Baskets wasn’t ground breaking. Funny yes? Quirky? Also true, but…Seinfeld is a beloved show for a variety of reasons, while not everyone has seen Baskets. Almost everyone knows Seinfeld, or knows someone who does. It was a cultural phenomenon.
