Yah, the way a table curl is sort of flat and heavy through the forearm seems like a decent exercise for a strapped up pressing armwrester, and he's basically the purist at that style.

@@Papaspronator How is he overrated? Nobody really ranks him all that highly but he has wins over some of the best in the sport over the years. All around great? Definitely not, but he was proven to be very effective against some great guys.

@@michaellopez2070 well it doesn’t sound like you overrate him. But he is overrated by some. So I guess it depends who you are talking to. But he’s definitely a one trick pony who isn’t going to be able to beat most top guys.

As someone who used to pull I've never done table curls. Preacher a lot but not table curls. I tried it; with heavy weight it's like it's pushing down on my radius and ulna. It doesn't feel well to me; doesn't seem like it gains much due to the angle not allowing it to be strict to your bicep and other back pressure muscles.

Table curls is just an easier preacher curl because once you lift the wt 45 degrees then there is no downward force and it’s easier

I don't like the half dumbbell curls on preacher bench either, might be something to do with supinated wrist position while curling but they really strain my upper bicep and front delt
