This is so good. Thanks Sean and Six String Country! It's is one of the best country fingerstyle songs recorded, IMO. I really enjoy watching Chet and Jerry play this. Its a life long piece for sure.
lol it’s cheap lazy sacks of doo doo who can’t drop a dime in the bucket. I can work with what was offered here for free. Some need to be spoon fed. Beggars can’t be choosers
So, I'd really like to learn this entire piece but not sure how your lessons work. If I could see how each section is played I could practice until I get it. How do I use your lessons to achieve this and how much for this complete tutorial. Please let me know.. Thanks
Hello Your guitar is a Kirk Sand? I see it is signed John Knowles it's a special model? I am looking to buy the same, can you tell me the exact model Thank you
Eric - I know didn't leave this note for me but I thought I could give you the information. I have 3 Kirk Sand guitars, including 1 very close to this one. Kirk is a great guy and very easy to talk to about what you may be looking for. He will customize the guitar exactly as you want (I also have a Richard Smith model customized to my liking). You can reach him at KsandCA@aol.com or call him in Southern California at 949-497-5570. Tell him John Lind sent you.
Sorry I'm a little slow to the reply! I'm Sean and am the guitar player in this video but I don't manage this channel or receive comment notifications so I am just now seeing this question. That guitar has a long story I'm not really comfortable publishing on a public platform but for a few details: (A) it was one of the early prototypes. (B) I met John when I was about 13 years old. (C) John had the guitar at the time but Kirk was building him a new one and so Kirk commissioned it. (D) I wound up with the guitar. (E) It was flooded under the Cumberland in the 2010 Nashville Floods. Kirk salvaged the neck and some other woods and rebuilt it with a new top & bracing. It came back better than it was the first time. I'm not sure what the current models he's building are. I haven't been looking for over 20 years! Best thing would be to call the shop as provided in the comments below (or above, however RU-vid places my comment in this thread)
