Melvin, just lasting 91 years on this earth is quite an accomplishment! Congratulations! I hope that Bruce has made your journey more meaningful and enjoyable, as he had done for me and so many others. I'm aiming the Positive Energy Generator toward you and Bruce and all of us really.
A decent man. A leader. Poet. Patriot. Humanist. Voice for those in need. Bruce is what was once right in America. Humble, strong and present for those who looked to him. He understands that we are all in this together. That the fabric of the American quilt is frayed but still holds strong if we subscribe to the ideal that makes this country beautiful. Love, hope and compassion. Change the focus of politics, dissension and unrest and follow Bruce’s light. Pray for your neighbours. Friends. Enemies. Until that moment comes when we all can hug and cry together.
What was once right in America? America is still great. The division and hatred for one another stems from rotten politicans in both sides, the rise of social media and the vanity it’s instilled in our citizens today (especially young people) and MOST of all the media. The best thing we can do during this time is to SHUT OFF THE NEWS!! Get off social media and start living a simpler life. You would see a greater sense of civility towards one another if we did this. That’s my opinion anyway.
@@brianbrosnan637 I think we have been divided. I think it's apparent at the highest level who has spoken for truth and compassion and unity, and who has sewed lies to create divisions.
I´m 46 years old, I´m from Germany and I´m a fan of his music for nearly 30 years. 2016 I visited his concert in munich and he made "high five" with my 8 year-old son, who was sitting on my shoulders during Hungry Heart. What a beautiful moment ... . It´s hard to describe, what all these songs and all the lyrics mean to me. God bless you for you creativity, your humanity and the courage to be honest with yourself!
Bruce ❤
Younger bro in intensive care, mother suffering along this wretched virus and myself now almost recovered...thank you to those who’re caring for us at this time. Grateful for your voices...
Bruce and Patti, seeing you and hearing you help to offer grace and inner healing. Thank you! I pray that God will continue to bless you with love and laughter together.
I am a Jersey boy myself and grew up right near Bruce's home town of Freehold and always was and still am a BIG fan. Although I am not on the same political page as Bruce I still love and inspired by his music. His music speaks to my heart and inspires my soul. It has also helped shape the person I am today. Thank you Bruuuuce.
Not surpised that this is one of the best homemade videos of these days. The man just does it with all of his heart, like always. Together with his lovely wife.
Ciao Bruce. Che bella la tua musica. Grazie.... Tutta la mia famiglia vi segue con affetto. Anche mio fratello suona con i suoi amici in una piccola band... Mio fratello ti somiglia fisicamente. Che Dio vi benedica. Un abbraccio
Bruce is a true American treasure. He deeply cares about out country and the direction it is headed for the good or bad. In times of trouble he has always been there to lend a helping hand.
Bruce brings me through difficult times, and helps me be grateful in the good times. He is everything that is great in this world. Thank you Bruce, love you.
Bruce, you are still the best musician for the last five decades all around the world. We admire and love you. You are my best friend for more than 40 years who I've never met. Thank you for sharing my life. Day by day I give my best to treat my lovely wife Gabi like you love Patti - you are my Idol. You will be always in our hearts and minds with your songs, passion and way of living. Thank you so much. God bless you, Patti and your lovely family. CU
Meeting Bruce at top of my bucket list. I've seen him 7 times in concert. In eighties a friend had tickets and I like Bruce but once I saw him live totally awesome best seats ever had 19 rows back on floor. No one can brighten my day like Bruce. Love for him keeps continuing to grow. So happy for him and Patti
Much love to Bruce and Patti for all the wonderful and inspiring music they've given us. I always loved Jersey Girl. It's a lovely cover of the great Tom Waits song, so beautifully done acoustically here. Please guys, stay safe and well in these tough times, from all of us here in the UK. God bless.
How good it is to wake up in the morning and listen to Bruce, we even forget about corona virus. I love you Bruce , take care! Stay at home, we need you!
Linda Anderson In the state of Western Australia we now have only 2 active cases of the corona virus. We had close to a couple of hundred but our government closed all borders and anyone arriving in the state had to self isolate for two weeks. Please stay positive and look after each other and try to avoid crowded places. Take Care
I lost my mother 10 days ago. Everything is too unfair, too cruel... but life goes on, and here I am now, giving dinner to my son and listening to you Bruce, you have always been there, in good and bad times, thank you for making us the easy way .
When I was 15 waay back in the early 80s, he dedicated Thunder Road to me at a concert in MD. Was SURE I was going to be mrs. Bruce!! haha! Love you, man!
His talent is unquestioned, and I believe his voice is getting better the older he gets. What the man sings gives voice to peoples loves fears hopes and dreams. Long may he be.
So very beautiful all the way through; start to finish! Beautiful song! Beautiful words and sung with love from the heart never missing a note or beat either one of you! Jyst pure sweet melodies to dream on!
Every time I hear the boss it takes me back to slane castle on the river bank in June 85 . Absolutely brilliant concert and a brilliant day. Long live the boss . Stay safe and hopefully you will come back to Ireland after these hard times have passed and we can rock some . God bless you and yours .
I have been a fan of this great man and his music for 42 years his music and his message are always the best he is a storyteller he is a lover of his craft and humanity he never disappoints I love you Bruce and all you stand for
This is heartbreakingly good. Sensational. Of course, part of what makes it special are the times- the circumstances. But even more is that Patti is doing it with them. When they harmonize... just SO special.
Far freaking out . What a great song and duet. The audio is absolutely fabulous. Just love the sound of those Gibson acoustics. Oh my Lord. Long live the Boss God bless y’all.
yeah Rad..Far freaking out (John Denver's fav expression) lotsa heart by the boss and Patti for NJ...and yeah those Gibsons have been SERIOUSLY set up with EQ..Thanks Bruce and Patti..
Jersey Girl, always makes me nostalgic. I love that song, reminiscing my younger days in the shore every summer. I can’t wait for the Jersey Shores to open. I will be there right out of my night shift . It feels nice to be appreciated.
One could not say it any better. It is heart- breaking and so honest! Bruce Springsteen is a true and steadfast man, singer, poet we all can look up to, whether we are from New Jersey or not ...
Dear God, if you can hear me, please look after this man and his family and friends...he has dedicated his life to music. Respect to you and yours Mr.Springsteen. Greetings from a fan from England.
I agree...but, what is the matter with him?! I know we are all aging but... he seems to have lost.. something. He didn't have stroke, did he? Maybe like us, he slung back a few!?!
This is someone who can stand in front of 18,000 people and make them all feel like they are related. He offers a service that is the epitome of what a musician's job is. His poetic point of view captures the essence of the best aspects of being an American male and always expresses a sense of hope and longing. I miss my childhood summers on the jersey shore but I'll stay in Europe for now.
Hallo Patti Hallo Bruce !!! Bin heute sechzig geworden, meiner Familie geht es gesundheitlich Gott sei Dank sehr gut !!! Wünsche eurer Familie und allen Erdenbürgern Gesundheit und Glück für die Zukunft. Lg. F. Gruber aus wien
America needs to rediscover its soul, Land of Hopes & Dreams epitomises all that's good and true, I for one hope it finds it's way back, we need you. Thank you, Bruce. g
Thanks for caring, 'n sharing your talents, Mr and Ms Boss-beautiful! Love ur tunes-all of 'em, and miss the Big Man. Stay safe...until we rock, again!
Thank you for being you and for always giving attention to them who has to struggle harder in live. You lay the lyrics to my youth and again in my older age. Thank you for always keeping you feet on the ground. You are one of my greatest heros and are looking forward to read your latest book, wich I just bought. All my love to you ❤️. Greetings from Denmark.
I lost it when they sang this. A former Jersey Girl now living in Newportville PA.....brings back memories when my husband and I were dating he was from PA and we would go to the shore. A wonderful show and tribute. I work for the New Jersey Hospital Association and have worked there for over forty years. I have never been so proud to be part of that and the wonderful healthcare workers who trying to keep us safe and well.
Seeing Bruce live may be one on my bucket list that stays unchecked when I'm called home. Nebraska is still probably my favorite record. But I still can't get through blood brothers without getting emotional.
not all of them "go" - many are still with us, like HIV, cold virus, flu etc. In fact some viruses become part of human dna and get transmitted through the generations
Bruce Springsteen’s voice is like a virus to my ears how can people say he has a great voice.if people think this is great singing they need their ears checked
@@Dervanism You need to start from the beginning.....Listen to his album Born to Run....WOW....the songs Thunder Road..and the song Born to Run....lyrically and musically...pure timeless gem....then also watch an 80's performance of those. When you grow up in a world of autotune and passionless artists i guess i can see why you can not appreciate legends
