Jerusalem Lights Parashat Shemini 5781: Living with Intention

In this week’s Torah portion of Shemini, the perplexing deaths of Aaron’s sons Nadav and Avihu provides an eternal lesson that instructs us along our lifelong quest to draw closer to our Creator, and G-d’s Divine laws of kosher foods in our Torah portion emphatically declare that even the seemingly ordinary and mundane aspects of our lives, when conducted with proper intention and mindfulness, can be pathways to true spiritual fulfillment.
The portion of Shemini (Leviticus 9 : 1 - 11 : 47) is read on Shabbat:

I do appreciate the “ability of self-determination”, and the ability of being “mater over the pettiness of our own material nature “. But being a non-Jewish,acknowledging Who bequeaths and what the purpose is are so important, for without which the ability could not be sustainable and one might lose his way. Shabbat Shalom to our Rabbi and your holy family .

🙏💐 In this life I'm not a Jew (probably in another one because I'm Spanish 🙏. For certain I have a mix of Nordic, Jewish and Arabic blood) but I so much respect and admire Jewish History🙏and Culture!! So much to learn!! Thank You for your Existence and Teachings!! 💐🙏

When I was younger I was on a date with a nice girl. I ordered a Turkey club with no ham but kept the bacon. She says to me. You are Jewish what are you doing eating bacon. That was over 20 years ago. Not quite Kosher,but make large efforts to avoid Pork of any type and bottom feeding things since that date 20 years ago. Thank you for another great video.

Rabbai, you said Rosh kodesh is adorned with 10 crowns. But I could note only 5 mentioned in the video. I would want to know the remaining 1sts. Kindly mention them. Toda Rabba, Shabbath Shalom!
