JERUSALEM | Visiting the holy sites amidst clashes at the Temple Mount

We visited Jerusalem on May 5th 2022. Our goal was to see as many sites as possible in the span of just a few hours. Jerusalem is a very unstable city politically, and we definitely felt that tension in the air. While in the Temple Mount area, we found ourselves in the midst of clashed between Israeli security forces and Palestinian protestors. We attempted to stay as far away from the tension while peacefully sightseeing. At the end of the day we were happy to see the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, the Western Wall, Al-Aqsa Mosque, the Dome of the Rock, and the Garden Tomb. Afterwards, we were happy to leave to Tel Aviv.
