That’s a big decision. Most women don’t want to have kids until they get married, if the man isn’t good financially it can cause the woman to have kids when she’s older which equal more complications so that’s why a lot of women want to get married in a certain time frame. I actually disagree. One of the most successful relationships in my family was my aunt and uncle who have been married over 30 years. They didn’t have much when they married because they were young. They didn’t even have a wedding. Instead of a wedding they used all of their money to purchase a home together. They had nothing but love, hard work, and ambition. Now they own over 200 acres of land, have raised all of their children, and have financial freedom to travel and do all they want to do. They are extremely successful. I don’t think you have to have it “figured out.” The same way women put time lines on things, men put financial time lines on things and that’s unfair as well. I personally don’t care about spending money on a wedding. If I want to spend the rest of my life with then I care about the sacredness of marriage and not the WEDDING. I also will leave if my timeline has expired with a relationship. If you love someone you will want them to be happy and if your fear is more important than the desire to make your partner happy… I don’t want that either. I believe in a man WANTING to marry his lady and if he is finding every excuse (financial included) then just leave sis…
