he was such a complex person and he was so much more interesting and entertaining to watch than the majority of other characters on the show, i wish we could have seen more of jess, he deserved so much better
I loved this video. Honestly everyone forgets that Jess has been through so much. They make excuses for Logan because of his shitty upbringing but Jess had it so much worse. At least Logan had a future, Jess didn't even know if he had that. This song is perfect for him and just makes me sympathise with him more. He's so interesting and complex and my favourite character in the whole damn show. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.
The tv show was always meant to come full circle and as Rory is the reflection of Lorelai, Jess is the reflection of Luke and Logan is the reflection of Christopher. We know weather or not we see it that Rory and Jess are going to end up being together because Lorelai and Luke ended up together.
Jess was so used to everyone giving up on him so he gave up on himself until he went looking for himself and he found stability got his life together and became everything Rory thought that he could be. I think that Rory believing in him has something to do with him finally making that step to get it together and partly Luke still being there for him.
My favourite character like no one fully ever understood him and how much pain he was in . I just love him and I wish I was a character and it was real life cause I would be there for him
Jess was a real man. He made it on his own when he left without the help of his mother or his uncle. After he grew up and matured, Rory didn't deserve him.

i know that if this show instead of been made in the early 2000's would've been more contemporary, we would've gotten to see more of jess i just know this
Jess had a bad life but he was there for people, even thou Luke wasn’t his dad he was like his dad, and him and Rory should have been endgame they were perfect for each other,
This is brilliant. I feel he is so misunderstood and everyone says oh but rory cheated on dean and logan so they had it bad. They did not, everyone jess loved left him, his mother neglected him and the one girl he ever loves was in love with someone else. So yes brilliant edit
The best character on the show with the best chraracter development! Rory did him so dirty and went back to the guy that cheated on her in her eyes so that's where she dropped the ball. In AYITL he outgrew her so much that he became too good for her that I don't want them together anymore and hope that he has a family of his own in Philadelphia! Let Rory realize that Jess is the one that got away and that's all her own fault!
