Wow 😢 I can relate to that kid .. I was an atheist because the abuser took me to church... praise God He softened my heart and I’m a child of the King of Kings!

I can relate, my abuser was in my family and almost left God because I thought it was punishment but thank God that he came to me in various ways that I'm still here today 😇🙏

I can also relate when I was child I also was abused from my moms boyfriend. And I can remember being just only 5 years my moms boyfriend slapped me , and I remember because of his drug habit we were so poor we had to warm hot water in the microwave. He was so controlling he made us share bath water . From him my mom to my sisters and myself . I can go on and on . I also witness my dad being abusive. Thank you for this ! I can’t stop crying cause of it… I have been losing faith and o needed this

I have adopted a child from an abusive parents and I can say that even after 4 years that this child has been with us they still carry scars that can’t be seen. Nightmares and phobias that many can’t relate to or understand. Bless those who try to make a difference and a better place for children.

I'm 37 and it never really goes away. The key is to use this shit to treat your kids better than how you were treated. My goal in life isn't to be rich or famous it's to be the best father to my 3 boys. And for them to never experience what I did.

The Netflix documentary was about Gabriel Fernandez and the horrific abuse he endured for 7 months until he died. I instantly thought of sweet Gabriel when I heard this song. I feel like this song is about Gabriel too.

Wow, this hits home. At 8 mths old my grandson was abused by his moms bf. He had a fractured skull, broken rib, broken leg and hemorrhaging behind both eyes. No kid should have to experience this

My friend killed himself when we was kids because he was being beat alot. I was to stupid to try and help for some dumb reason and I regret it every day. I am 35 years old and still cry everytime I hear this song. 😢 if you don't have a heart then yeah idk what to say. I come home from school and my therapist was there and told us the news. I still suffer from PTSD and severe depression

Even though my nephews are mixed, what happened to my nephew madame racist for a while. He was beat to death before his second birthday. He couldn't even pray for help. Don't get me wrong, after my grieving I knew not all black folk was the same, the way I felt even before everything happened. But that boy that did that to my nephew has a death warrant if he ever gets out of prison. This song takes me to a place I don't like going but then again I can't stop listening when I get a chance.

I grew up just like that kid….cuz my POS mama would allow Jose to get liquor drunk and let him do anything. I remember being 12 years old getting laughed at and then popped in the mouth multiple times knocked out a few times and thrown thru walls and windows and shit. And people wonder why I’m so mean grown up and learned how to fight real quick. Made me tougher tho ig. Made me hard to hurt. No one was there for me. No one helped me. Missing school a lot cuz my face was so lumped up man.

It is like little Gabriel. Friends of mine won’t watch, it’s too difficult to see and even know about. My answer is always that the child has to endure the beatings and starvation and you’re afraid to hear about it? For Gods sake, knowledge is power. If we choose to turn a blind eye nothing will change, nothing can help the child! Open up your eyes, step forward and help stop this!
