If anyone every comes to another person, and tells them that they are being abused....do not wait to intervene! Also, his Mama didn't do anything to stop this. Which in my mind makes her guilty of child endangerment, neglect, etc.

I just found you and heard this song for the first time while watching you via my TV. I had to open my laptop to say thank you for reacting to this song. My first time hearing it and cried through the entire video! I am so angry that people are more worried about how the illegals are being treated (NOT talking about legal immigrants that deserve to be here) but the ones who broke the law right off the bat but our missing and abused children seem to be a mere thought in the back of this countries worries. Even if this only one time it would be too much. But it happens way too much. We have to stop thinking, " It's none of my business". It is because if not, who? My Mom stood up to my best friends parents. Plus she fed them, made clothes, made sure they were dressed for the weather and took them to church. Their parents got sober after facing my Mom and the police. We've been friends for 52 yrs now

I've really enjoyed your reactions. You didn't fail him, that child will always remember you and the fact that you took time and compassion and may have just been one part of His plan. Our sweet little angels is so sad. I too carry regret for not following through with a young lady that was in turmoil and had tried to take her own life previously. It haunts me. So I ask for forgiveness but the hardest part is forgiving myself. I have no way of finding her now. The physical abuse is horrendous. I can feel their pain, confusion, feeling lost and alone and wondering why isn't someone helping me.😢 What's wrong? Why ? I carried this burden in my childhood and if it wasn't for the grace of God I would still be that scared child all the time, withdrawn little innocent child. Thanks to God for finding a way to get out, to remove us from the nightmare. I am a survivor of childhood abuse. My family went through a lot. Bullets flying, drunkenness, attempts to murder my mother. My older 11 year old brother saving her life. Curled up against the wall in the corner if the bed waiting for it to begin every night. Waiting for it to begin. Utilities all being manually turned off, phone ripped out of the wall. If there is no way to reconnect with this boy, which I think it will happen for you, pray. I will pray for you, the boy and the burden you carry. You will find an answer. God lifted me up and brought me to His loving arms. I was not alone anymore and that's when the healing came. God is with this boy, he's not alone. God bless you. Don't let the demons torment you over this. God will cast this out. You care and are compassionate and you are loved. ❤

Your little daughter is a beautiful little girl. She is very lucky to have a good mom and dad to look up to. Not enough kids get that.

When my mother was dying from cancer, I was living in Georgia, and drove home to Massachusetts. I got there in time to see her. My brother was reading “Heaven is for Real” I took over reading it to her. She held on to hear the ending, and a short time after that, she was there. This song reminds me of that time, and the precious moments I got with her at the end of her earthly life.

Sweet little precious angel you got there. You're blessed to have each other.
