There is almost always room for clarification or longer answers. For instance, "Have you stopped beating your wife?" It's a yes or a no question but is harboring a falsehood that must be addressed. Sometimes simple questions don't deserve simple answers. The correct answer would be "I have never and will never beat my wife." Logic 101.

99% of people will move on when they get resistance to a question because I think it’s a natural tendency to avoid awkward situations. It’s such a unique yet incredibly simple way of interviewing. it is AMAZING how people refuse to answer questions when they feel like it’s going to corner them even when they KNOW the answer. Well I'm no lawyer. just an uneducated dyslexic hillbilly but I would have answered no. because I was unaware that it was bad for me at the time I made the decision. But I really hate when he does this bc it ends up looking dishonest, exactly like you say, he’s fishing for answers so he can proceed in the way he wants. A lot of the time he does end up exposing hypocrisy but sometimes he just ends up looking like an ass. This guy was clearly going on the hindsight is20/20 perspective. Life is full of decisions - we make choices but we don't always know if it is a good choice for ourselves or a bad choice for ourselves until some time has passed. These choices are often having to be made without knowing all the details and so we can "do bad things to ourselves". No-one can answer Jesse's question with a yes or a no I'm sorry to say.

Some Christians are very biased against any other forms of religions, they love to ridicule and deny that these people can be good and decent somehow. Some even try to deny the original church, the Catholic Church. We are lucky that the law allows other religions to exist otherwise perhaps some Protestant Christians would be as dangerous as the islamists who also don't tolerate other religions. Some Christians blame ALL the Jewish people for "killing Jesus" and they are as hate filled to the Jewish people as the islamics are - that is very strange to me. I was very surprised when I learnt this reading when reading the comments by Christians in many, many discussions on religion here on the internet.
