Umm i love Jessieand was and still is like obsessed with him but do not diss seal like that... this song was perfect for seals voice and to say Jessie is better than him is highly disrespectful honestly. You can pay Jessie a compliment but respect the person who song it originally...
This Jesse McCarthy Montage shows how talented he truly is. I felt he was robbed and should have won it all. His vocals were flawless. He deserved 1st place.
He was robbed you know even though I thought Kandi was talented and she had a beautiful voice she didn't deserve first place I'm sorry maybe third place but not first I'm sorry.
I think he lost for the same reason Chris lost season 2. The Fox and Night Angel provided a variety of styles of songs while Turtle and Rottweiler did mostly Pop music. I guess the fans appreciated versatility.
Comparing him to Beiber is an insult....to Jesse. lol. Beiber maybe has tons of fans, but he will never ever ever compare to the voice and soul that Jesse has. Never. Shawn Mendes, yes.. could be.

Probably because Jesse takes care of his voice and he doesn't do drugs like most celebrities nowadays! And don't say he doesn't take care of his voice because he wouldn't even camouflage his voice because he was afraid it would mess up his vocals.
@@eb4676 he is 35 and that isnt 20. My point is, he looks good. Many "stars" get into a fast lifestyle with drugs, alcohol and a lack of sleep and they dont age well.

I knew it was Jesse from the very first performance so it wasn't a shock when he took off his mask and it turned out to be Jesse McCartney and I crack up for those people that kept insisting it wasn't Jesse and laughed even harder when people kept insisting it was Hunter Hayes and I'm like unless Hunter grew & Jesse shrunk then Hunter is not the turtle and Jesse is not the astronaut.

It seems from a distance that he really did not want to be too big and enjoy his privacy. Otherwise this mans voice was so amazing and he was such a hearthrob in the teen years
Actually, he was pretty big in the beginning of his solo career. Disney really helped with that. However, as he got older, his stuff wasn’t appealing for young audiences at Disney nor the teens who grew up with his music. Albums started to flop. The record company he was a part of technically dropped him. But he’s independent now and ngl, after watching the show and knowing his voice the minute he sang the first note, I DEFINITELY revisited his music and became a fan of his all over again.

The moment I heard him sing. I screamed that’s Jesse!!!!! My husband looked at me like I was crazy. I know it’s him! I loved his I am a music fan so once I know who it is I don’t waver and my hubby hates it cause I end up being right. Every week I screamed at the tv that’s Jesse McCartney!!!! ❤❤❤❤ I love his voice.

I think he enjoyed doing this under a mask. He just had a fun time with this and you can hear it in his voice as someone who loves music and sings I can just hear this and see it. What talent truly.

This is a god-level compilation. I love that he makes every song his own, but doesn't change them to the point of being unrecognizable. He also has such a distinct and pleasant voice. All the songs here, he could just release them as an album, really.

@@NatashaMajasi Yes, he can sing. Actually, Drew Seeley only had to sing for the first HSM, but even then Zac's voice was mixed in. But for the 2nd and 3rd HSM, it was all Zac's singing voice (you can actually notice the difference). While doing HSM, he also starred as Link Larkin in the movie adaptation of Hairspray. His most recent musical was The Greatest Showman. Even if you didn't watch it, it's pretty hard to miss the promos. Their songs were kinda all over the radio at the time. I still haven't watched it but I sure have heard the OST.

Between growing up with his music, watching Young Justice, and playing Kingdom Hearts, AND practically being raised with Disney Channel, I was honestly disappointed with the judges for not recognizing him. Why would you guess the artist of the song as the one singing it? Nick has a distinctly different voice from Jesse. Why would someone make it so easy to identify themselves by singing their own music? You’d think that would be an immediate answer to whether it was the actual singer or not.

Ummm, i hate to say it but he sang alot of those songs better in my opinion. 🤭🤣💜 his voice is so goooooooooooood..I forgot how great he could sing. Go jesse.
It's easy to say, 'how could you not recognise his voice' in hindsight. You have to remember this show is about celebrities who are trying to re-emerge or showing that their skills include singing. He fits neither of the criteria. Plus his voice is almost like every 2000's male teen voice that matured. It's why the judges were guessing celebrities that had low tonality and could hit falsettos. JM never had a low tonality, his voice just matured and him hitting those high notes are just years of experience. You can tell he was avoiding it because if he sang at that tone they would recognise him. What set him apart though was his control. That definitely threw the judges off because he had so much control and his voice is distinct that its almost wrong that he isn't in the lime light currently. So that's why the judges were confused and surprised that it was him because he shouldn't even be in a show where it a celebrity singing is a surprise.

Oh man I recognized his tone immediately, but it’s been so long so he’s been singing I’d be second guessing myself too. If you liked this please check out his album In Technicolor. It’s a few years old now but that vibe is there. I hope America has rediscovered his talent.

He's voice is amazing and I am glad that this has made us realize how great some of these older singers are. I will say that Nicole's guesses are a bit out there. She always pick AAAA list celebrities and we have not seen one of those on the show before. We have to be realistic and know that these are forgotten celebrities who are getting another moment to shine.
do you not watch the show? they dont tell her if shes right or not when they guess, every week you guess who you think it is, only when the person is voted off do they reveal who they actually are.

I don't watch The Masked Singer, only clips if they go trending, but I'm so glad I found this gem and I appreciate it so much. Thank you for making this montage.
Every artist whose song he just did should feel some type of way bruh. He still just as talented as ever the vocals are still there bruh. He needs to remind people of who he is as an artist.
This brings me back to my high school years back when I listened to burned CDs while singing the lyrics on songhits magazines and watching his, jojo's and other 2000s artists music videos on mtv.
