it’s so wild to me that this almost has 2 million views. i made this with the intent of 3 friends seeing it. thank you all for the kind comments & likes even though i made this when i was a cringe little 14-15 year old (videos like this were popular at the time). it genuinely makes me so happy when i see comments from you guys saying that it made you laugh or it made your day better. i would love to make another video similar to this, but im honestly just extremely lazy and i remember this taking me forever to make. ALSO!! thank you for almost 2k subs??? like that’s actually insane to me. (this is so long i’m sorry)
I wish we could get a Jesse pinkman badger skinny Pete show somehow , where we see their day to day flipping meth together but the timeline doesn’t match up
Jesse could be a terrible person at times, but he was also somehow simultaneously way too pure for this world. Definitely not cut out for the business.
@@user-li5tm4yk1b yes you absolutely can. That’s the whole point of the fuckin show lol. Jesse is in the game but has serious problems when it comes to fucking with kids (Brock, the kid on the Dirtbike, etc). That’s his line of morality
"This is my own private domicile and I won't be harrassed... BITCH!" has to be the Jessiest Jessation that Jesse ever Jessed. That "bitch" was so unnecessary and petty, gotta love it.
I like thinking of an alternate reality where Breaking Bad was a buddy-drug-selling show where Jesse and Walt get into wacky adventures instead of turning into stone-cold killers who end up turning on each other.
it’s weird to think that instead of becoming more serious this show could’ve gone heavier on the comedic aspect because the first season gets some genuine laughs out of me
jesse has to be my favorite character just because of his development and how he reacted to each situation I loved that despite acting like a tough guy and making literally drugs, he never gave up on his dream of woodworking and despite everything cared about people to the very end
@@v1nce502 I mean in the episode he talked about it he seemed like he really enjoyed the craft because he was able to describe the box in really good detail there is also a flashback to where it shows him making or finishing the box and he looked really happy about it
@@patchyDW I saw that not too long ago, definitely depressing. Jesse seems too innocent in a way from all the shit he’s had to do. Hopefully in Alaska , woodworking is what he’s doing
I remember being casted for Jesse in a high school drama production, it was a skit that had the show's theme but in 5th grade and selling blue rock candy, because I looked "like a drug dealer"
Im shocked the school allowed that. Even in high school my school was very conseritive in what was approporite or not. Thats really cool u did that tho! Did it go over well? I assume people liked it
@@christina-2002 the student director did a good job with keeping it school friendly! And yea it was a huge hit! The only line I had was "Yea! ..B-word!" as we walked off at the end and I had the crowd laughing every showing. Other than that, I just had to stand there and "look like I was in middle of a drug deal" the entire time lol
@@rae102 For real! Like it was kinda messed up how I looked like I knew how to act in a drug deal! Which like, how I acted in that production isn't how you really act while being in a real situation like that lol
I will never understand how Jesse walks around with like 3 layers of clothing in the middle of the desert EDIT: What the hell is going on here, I swear to god I get like 3 notifications from this god damn comment because people are arguing if Jesse is trans or not. If he is, WHO THE FUCK CARES! IT SHOULDN'T MATTER! Fun is over everyone go home and spend your time somewhere else. Watch the series and your questions will be answered.
@@_Rick___Grimes_ I'm glad they didn't, but I also wish he wasn't in seasons after the second one. It doesn't make sense that he wanted to keep selling meth after suffering such a huge loss due to drug use + getting clean + finding support in therapy. It was very uncharacteristically evil of him to try selling meth to people who were recovering especially after we saw that he genuinely respected those people. Idk maybe it is just season 3, I haven't watched the other ones yet, but the writing quality in that season declined drastically imo
@@seacrystal6189 you definitely jumped the shark. im going to not spill much but he not only doesn't go through with that plan but the unexpected part is such an integral part of Jesse's character arc through out the rest of the show, and especially that season
@@goatattack1490 Yes, it is the central part of Jesse's later character arc. That's why I dislike him in the later seasons I liked the dynamic they had in the first two seasons; Walter wants to be in the drug business, while Jesse is forced into it. This is evident in my favourite episode, when Jesse got kicked out from his own house and had nowhere else to go but the RV. Jesse, just like many drug addicts irl, had no support from his environment. He tried to quit many times, but couldn't because he had nowhere else to go and no other places that would employ him. After Jane died, he was clean, calm and had enough money to start a new life But then, not only does he come back to the business, he also gets really power-hungry and tries to sabotage other peoples' recovery. He also starts getting into trouble with gangs, despite being terrified of powerful drug lords and always warning Walter to step back. Even before he was clean, he was fine being a small time drug dealer. It was always Walter who wanted to push the business further. Their roles being reversed felt... Off. It just didn't feel like the same character. I understand they did it because they wanted BrBa to be more action focused, but that's just not my cup of tea
What’s funny is his clothes were (and were meant to be) corny at the time but now that the generic 2000’s look is “in” I’ve heard a few others also praise his style.
Character development is where Walter just glances awkwardly at Jesse doing stupid shit in season 1, but in season 3, Walt assaults him with a broom instead lmao
this being recommended after finishing the show and el camino is really a punch in the face. you can really see his mental state decline throughout the episodes
Jesse was never meant to be a criminal. Walter was born to be one. Jesse was never cut out for such a business and even less for such a ruthless business partner. Both Walt and Jesse would have been way happier and definitely safer if they have searched for another partner in crime.
Walt would never have wanted a partner like himself. Walt’s biggest flaw (minus the whole meth business) was the fact he always needed to feel/be superior, which is why even when he had a better, more competent partner in Gale, he went back to Jesse
@@srious_gamer1717 no, he went back to Jesse because Jesse was going to take legal action against Hank, which could potentially lead to exposing Walt, so Walt needed Jesse on his good side
I love the 'dad' and 'son' pieces that were added, I love seeing their relationship as a father and son one- even though he's just a teacher and Jesse's his student.
Okay so I’m not the only person with a crush on Jesse. He’s so sweet and good with children. He’s emotionally available-asking Mr. White if he’s depressed. My dream man doesn’t need to be rich or smart, I just want him funny and kind.
i just now noticed that jesse saying “have you gone crazy or depressed?” is quite exactly what walter progressively became more of throughout the series
I know he is smart, he's just dumb because walter is too smart around him. The magnet scene for destroying Gus's evidence and battery when they were stuck in the dessert.
The fact that jesse was willingly looking after that child and becoming a father figure to him proves he is secretly not a bad guy, he was just led down the wrong path
Crazy to know that the original plan for Jesse was to kill him off in the first season. I always saw Jesse as a good person who never had good direction in life with crappy parents that seem good enough at face value but not really and with unrealistic expectations who gave up on him and tried desperately to replace him with their "ideal" child. He latched onto the first thing he felt like he was good at out of desperation for success and validation. Walter was an enabler who gave him false validation for his own selfish gain. The movie really helps further elaborates who he is as a person. The show also did a great job. Not gonna spoil for those who havent seen the movie yet. Him, Mike, and Saul are easily my favorite characters. Jesse being an extremely relatable character. With how quickly Jesse was able to learn and how loyal he was to people who showed any respect to him, he had a lot potential in life. Just no direction until later towards the end. I really liked the dynamic between Jesse and Mike. Mike for sure was needed for his character development.
The amount of times throughout the show I’ve wished Walt would just give him a hug is too many to count. Especially after the scene in Grilled where he shoots Tuco in the side and is clearly super distressed, I would’ve given anything for a wholesome moment where Walt is comforting him.
@@julesk2629 in season 5 I don't remember the episode but it's when he met Jessie with saul far out in the desert to convince him to leave town (right before the ep or scene where he was about to leave for Alaska and realized that Walt was the one who poisoned brock)
In their latest cameo in Better Call Saul, Aaron's face certainly throws me off because he looks super old now, but nothing throws me off harder than his voice. His voice in earlier season was very teenager, young and a bit higher than his current voice. His voice now is what you would expect, he's an adult, he's old, so hearing him (plus his looks) be Young Jesse in the latest BCS episode is really funny.
