Did anyone else laugh just as hard when Jesse at the beginning was like "I'm not gonna get all excited for these games just a heads up" and then final fantasy hits and Jesse "YOOOOOOOOOOOO! I'm back in" was DYING🤣
NGL, the Stray playthrough with Mrs Cox was one of the most wholesome, wonderful things I've seen from the Cox. So now of course we need one with Mr. Cox, dunno what that would be but we need it xD
Romancing SaGa 2, out of the whole series, is the game I would say is the most Dragon Quest like. It's still fairly non-linear but it is more linear than 1 and 3. Though less linear than SaGa Frontier 2, which I actually think Jesse would enjoy a lot if he hasn't played it yet. Maybe we will get a nice remake or remaster of that.
I love that so many other RU-vidrs who see this Nintendo Direct, see the MVC collection and call that Maximilian Dood will freak out at this news. And are all correct in this prediction. 😊
They will probably do that in the future. The thing with MP 2 and 3 is thst they were developed in old Unreal 3 engine, unlike the in-house engine for the og Metroid Prime. So that will take more time and resources than the latter title, but t is still possible.
What's wild to me is that for the past 20 years, everyone is CONSTANTLY like, "Eh. Nintendo. Not really my thing but I'll take a look." then they get blasted with everything they love. And you think that'd change their opinion the next go-around. But, six months later, they return to the, "Eh. Nintendo. Not really my thing but I'll take a look." It happens every time. I first noticed this with the Wii U when Nintendo kept releasing all these baller games and people kept going, "Ugh, the Wii U has NO good games except this one they just announced! I'm not going to buy it for ONE game!" except those same people said that EXACT thing 20 times within 2 years.
I love jesse reacting to nintendo stuff and because you don't get over reaction hype thing but you get a man who just wants to enjoys games and also learn that barrel of age of enjoyment nintendo still trying to hit with these games because I still learning what these are
I'm surprised Fantasian's being published by Square Enix considering it was made while Sakaguchi was separated from them. Maybe things have cooled over there.
I mean Square Enix still has a cordial relationship with some of the people that are not within the company: - Yoko Shimomura - Nobuo Uematsu - Akihiko Yoshida - Kazushige Nojima - Yoko Taro - And of course Sakaguchi.
If Sega won't, if I were Nintendo I would just partner with them and fund it myself. Monolith Soft has quite literally the perfect engine for that series.
this Direct was batshit crazy, Nintendo continues to farm Ws, only their legal department can be the ones farming Ls, Nintendo itself just wins. i feel sorry for anybody who invested in this Gen's overpriced paperweights, AKA PS5 and Xbox 5 or wtfever they call it. PC is master race with Nintendo offering a more affordable gaming option.
29:08 Took them a while to make a canon Zelda game with Zelda as the protagonist; Zelda: The Wand of Gamelon was released in 1993 (31 years ago). I'd never imagined Zelda as a conjuration wizard, but that does look fun.
@@miguelnewmexico8641 Is this a point of contention (I didn't know it was)? "Canon" in this case means "recognized by Nintendo as part of The Legend of Zelda series". More substantially, Eiji Aonuma (the producer of the franchise) has said he "doesn't know that those (CD-i Zelda games) really fit in the 'Zelda' franchise" (he even laughed a bit before that statement).
