Tears filled my eyes when I learned of Jesse's death. This man was an incredible artist. I first heard cold beer through my recommendations and it reminded me of my father who passed away when I was 19, he was a great man, but struggled with addiction and its what eneded up leading to his death. I went to jesses page and listened to all his songs and they helped me through some hard times. Thank you for leaving your mark on this earth, rest easy jesse ❤

If I would have found his music 6 years earlier, I prolly would have never gotten sober. Prolly would have still been cooking, listening to this. Passion like this only comes from struggles. He is/was my generation, one year younger than me... I found out about his death and it hit me... cause I also almost died and woke up in the intensive care in the hospital after the overdose many times... but I am still alive, and now I am 34, And I haven't OD-d in 7 years... I got less autodestructive... too bad for Jesse, as I always say, legends go first! May he not RIP, but go and live again somewhere new, and I hope he will sing and perform again and 4 ever! Legend!

I never got a chance to show her this and it hurts. its funny to hear your stories sung from a man who has never met you or the people in your life... a lot has happened since then... sober now... I miss him so much. Jesse was my best fucking friend we were bout to get married and live on Vancouver island. Im gonna be revisiting Canada when the weather is warm and we plan to host a memorial concert sometime this coming summer where we can come together and cover his music in honor of his life. Stay tuned this will take place in red deer alberta and open to friends and fans.
