And every year the United States always has done a little at a time to lower air contamination so it's been proven it doesn't have to be done all at once I one year. Doing so with a plan to phase in the changes prevented people from having to go hungry, do without heat and fuel, and to make personal changes on a reasonable budget!! And that was working to raise air quality all along! Look at the mess trying to force it all at once has provided!!!!

Fun little fact about that Y2K fix, it came back and had it's revenge in 2020 caused by a concept in the computer science world we call windowing. When January 2020 rolled around, the systems ended up resetting back to 1920 because they hit the end of their window. Thus, any system that used the lazy fix back then ended up having this problem.

Actually I think that particular Doomsday Cult got rolling on the first Earth Day back in 1970. Their evidence was that the northern sea lanes were closing earlier and earlier due to being frozen over. Isn't it funny that the records we currently have available no longer show that, as they have all been "corrected" over the last few years. Leonard Nimoy did a special on it.
