So this is 'concepts apart', my favorite sad breakup song so far. I feel weirdly uncomfortable talking about the stories behind my songs, I think that limits you as a listener to fully relate to it. So I won't. But I would share that the first half of it was written before and the second half - after the breakup. This song is supposed to be a mirror reflection of how everything you know and feel is and how it all shifts once it's over.
