Dont see how its really relevant to bring up the fact Jessica smoked pot? (i understand every single detail of her life needs to be looked at because she was murdered) but i almost feel like its disrespectful towards her now that shes dead.. i cried when one of the firemen was almost in tears talking about how she looked before she died and the whole scene.. cant imagine what they all went through that night, also the fact they will remember that call to that scene for the rest of their lives.. poor girl died such an awful way, trying so hard to tell the fire men who did that to her must have been so fustrating when they couldn't understand her well.. rest in peace beautiful girl.. i hope justice is found in this horrible case :(
@Madyson Mckiel ... Jessica’s smoking of pot and selling it was relevant to the case because it could possibly have been drug related and lead up as to why she was murdered. Everything is unleashed in the court for obvious reasons. The Jodie Arias trial was one that made me well aware that ‘ everything’s ‘ scrutinized at trial both by the prosecution and defense... wow
I’m with you on the crying girl! He broke my heart. This whole case is just terrible on so many levels. My husband is a fireman and some of the calls he goes on are horrible....I’ve never understood how you can witness this kind of trauma and keep it together! Thank god for all first responders ❤️
I agree! As a Canadian, this whole focus on “the evils of pot smoking thing!,” 🤭😱 🤷🏼♀️is a just clouding the real issue for sure!..Apparently, in the southern states, it’s still 1963!..✌🏼🇨🇦
In case you missed it, a man's life is on the line! No one wants to tell anything but facts. If "Eric" was a customer who set her on fire, the jury needs to know why she back in the woods in a car with someone who's last name she didn't know.
@@midnightrun2764 As a liberal Canadian myself, I can't relate to this entire culture - it is scary. You are absolutely right 1963 Mississippi. I do have to say that Mississippi has moved forward slightly, Tennessee is crawling with crime, corruption and a childish, syrupy sort of adulthood I've never seen before.
This is so sad.. I don't care what she did. She didn't deserve to be killed. Who ever did this to this young lady will rot in jail. How she was killed... I'm going out on a limb this was personal. They was trying to cover something up r keep her quite. This is so messy.. My heart goes out to her family...
This young lady died an horrific death. Who pours lighter fluid down someone’s throat and ignites it... what could possibly warrant such a thing and why??
Another inmate said that Tellis told him Jessicas “pet name” for him was Eric. Also, someone local knew of people jailed with Tellis before. He was telling inmates “they’ll never find out who killed that MS girl” and also, this whole fire was supposed to be meant to scare her and accidentally went too far.
I think it's very hard to explain how very hard it was for this girl to speak. It's almost unexplainable, like you had to be there. Her condition was beyond most people imagination. Poor woman.
Why did this first witness start asking her questions when it was already established by the firefighters on her name and ERIC, should have just comforted her, poor girl.
i don't think this first guy is able to recreate the sound she was making. for prosecution to ask him to recreate what she saif was stupid and i dont think helps the case
They're not articuating it very well. Maybe all they could really hear is vowels. SAY THAT! First syllable "E" Iin both of their names. Second syllable "i" in both names
RIGHT!! I wish attorney wouldve gone over all tht with the 1st responder and if he was going to pronounce it that way not even asked him bc theres no way he could correctly recreate the exact sound and speech she made!
Also, try to announce the name “Eric” and someone with a burned throat, it would sound like “Quinton”if it’s coming out like air and missing the first part. Also, there was no other cctv’s images from other parts in town to see the time line? Where is the guy who was at the crime scene wearing a shirt and few min later he walks back with a different color T-shirt? Why was he not questioned on the spot?
So, wait...the Director of Operations for Emergency Services in Panola County doesn't know the correct transport temperature for a burn victim? That's problem #1. Problem #2 is that probably means that his chiefs and crews don't know either. Don't get me wrong...the paramedics knew, because we get that kind of training, and there is nothing they could have done to save her. They knew that on the scene. But there is zero excuse for the Director of Operations being unable to take the stand and correctly answer that question. Even less of an excuse for throwing his traumatised and possibly grievously under-trained emergency responders under the proverbial bus. Shame on him.
He's an ambulance- chasing egomaniac. Don't trust him. I'd like to see a statement of his qualifications, experience and education. A Curriculum Vitae for example.
they need to do a better job describing her speech. simply saying "she was having problems" isnt good enough. none of these 1st responders are very descriptive at all. simple minded, simple vocabulary, 4th grade level speech level.
Maybe Jessica was trying to say Herring meaning Herring Road. I'm sure she was in shock and she didn't know what she was saying. I don't think that the person on trial is the person that committed this crime.
