Jennifer W Same! It’s my favorite season for the fact it’s actually scary and the storyline is the most consistent. After seasons 1 & 2, the episodes fell apart after the start and really didn’t have any direction. I’d love a prequel season to asylum set at an orphanage. Maybe with Sister Jude working in one...

I was 14 years old when I first just fell in love with this woman. Forty- three years later I find that I love her even more. You don't always get to do that in a lifetime. Her poise, beauty, and graciousness are unequaled. I absolutely became unglued when she sang David Bowie. She "got" Bowie, understood his genius and emulated him perfectly. Huh? All that wrapped up in one beautiful soul, too much! Love her!!!!!

Sister Jude (Asylum) and Elsa Mars (Freakshow) were her best performances! Both complicated characters with so much backstory and pain and desire. She did really well in both role! She did very well for all 4 roles don’t get me wrong, but Asylum and Freakshow were marvellous! Both performances bought me to tears too.

Murphy make shitty AHS now. I think she noticed the characters for the 5th seasons were shitty, so she got out before she made a fool of herself. Honestly I would’ve done the same if I notice the quality of writing going downhill.

Yeah that was a shock, Coven was my favorite season so far (I'm finishing up Freak Show, heartbroken it's the last season where Jessica Lange has a major role). I do have to say whilst I wasn't a huge fan of Asylum, she really played the character of Sister Jude well, and who could forget her portrayal of a prejudiced Virginian in Constance Langdon. Fiona was an amazingly twisted yet somehow likeable character, and Elsa Mars was pretty good in her own ways too.

Seeing Jessica portray Constance in AHS Murder & Apocalypse, as well as Sister Jude in AHS Asylum, was to see a true gift of art in motion. @@mayahilten6020 But if there's one thing I learned from Coven & Apocalypse, dead isn't really dead. Michael pulled Madison out of hell & freed Queenie from the Hotel Cortez. The antichrist that took Michael's place at the end of Apocalypse could do the same for Fiona. Or Mallory with her demonic street-cred could do it, like she did with Misty. I doubt it would ever happen, but a girl can dream. lol

The first thing I really remember taking notice of her in was when the movie "Men Don't Leave" hit HBO. She played a mother who sank into a deep depression after her husband cheated, then left. I was a teenager, and was so struck by her performance, in a time when nobody really talked about or showed crippling depression, in such a very real way.

My fav AHS seasons w/Jessica 1)Freak show (I have never been more engaged in a storyline and it's characters) 2.Coven(Jessica played the Supreme to the hilt!) 3. Apocalypse ( great storyline and almost everyone came back ..EPIC!) 4.Asylum ( Jessica Lange sings the Name Game...that alone was worth it lol!) 5. Murder House ( captivating made me fall in love with Jessica all over again) I Hope she returns for another season!

FREAKSHOW was considered one of the worst AHS seasons ,, yet i agree with Ms Lange that it is one of the best. The Humanity & the way people who are different are perceived was captured beautifully in FREAKSHOW. Every character Jessica has played has been Mesmerizing. In my opinion, Jessica Lange IS "THE" AHS's spirit ... without her in, it has lost one of the main and central pieces of it even if Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters and many other actors or actresses are excellent. I really hope they'll make a better 9th season, the last one was quite confused with the crossovers and not so twisted ... Send all my Love to Jessica Lange, wonderful & excellent actress.

Remember her first child was born stillborn then she had a Adelaide who was mongoloid or had Down syndrome disorder then she had Boo Radley home was born severely disfigured cleft palate cleft lip (character in To Kill a Mockingbird) then her perfect son tate was born even though he wasn't physically thought of being a monster mentally he was screwed up and became a monster. All my life I love Miss Jessica Lange I've seen all her movies my favorite is when she played Patsy Cline and the it girl Frances farmer I loved her when she played with Sissy Spacek and Diane Keaton as sisters to me Jessica Lange is one of the greatest underrated actresses around
