Saw her new coach teach her windshield wiper motion at IW. I’m not convinced that’s the shot and skill she needs at this stage of her game. I predict this current new coach won’t be staying too long.
I don’t quite understand Jessica not having a high quality coach now. Jessica is an heiress to a multi billion dollar fortune so she’s not playing for the money. Having seen her doubles partner win a slam at 19 - she must have been thinking “why not me”. She’s probably long planned to retire after she won a slam. Also she’s been married for some time and probably wants to start a family. Her coaching change seemed randomly done just to make a change - her coach said he had no idea it was coming.
