I then was awestruck by her voice and did a Wikipedia search. Didn’t realize she is an accomplished actress as well. Anyway her singing voice brings tears to my eyes. I have only discovered "Wild Rose" from an email advertisement: watched the preview and gave the movie a watch. Wow, I was impressed. Everything that makes us human was there: Our flaws, our struggles, our overcoming--everything! This song, this moving ballad speaks directly to the heart, speaks directly to the human spirit! Indeed, a song well sang, Ms. Rose-Lynn Harlan (aka, Ms. Jessie Buckley)!

I first saw Jessie Buckley sing the EmmyLou Harris classic Boulder to Birmingham on the Late Late Show several weeks ago, and was totally blown away by her voice. Then I went to see Wild Rose and was amazed by her acting and singing. Truly a star is born. Can't wait to hear and see more of her awesome talent.

I'm not a country music fan, but two of my favorite songs of all time are country songs first being a ballad old school style song (Shelby Lynne's "I need a heart to come home to") and an alt-country song (Cowboy Junkies "Misguided Angel"). I got nearly a powerful a reaction listening to this song. It goes to show you that music fans don't love Genre's, they love Songs and even Artists.
