Jessie Dotson, the man serving time on death row for killing six people, including multiple family members and children in 2008, is asking the court to set aside his conviction and sentence.
🚨🚨If you have not seen this episode, go watch it. Its First 48 and the episode is called Lester. I will never forget this episode. Let him sit there and rot! He confessed to his mom at the police station. The kid told who did it! This episode was powerful!
@@amyschweitzer9362 the jail is making money off him.. they get money for every criminal they keep. It's a form of government assistant. You didn't think they were keeping so many alive for any other reason, did you?
The Jesse Dotson case made retired MPD chief Tony Armstrong alot of money. At the time of this case Tony was the head of Homicide at MPD. He later became police comissioner of MPD. Tony is one of the best leaders and public servants in Memphis history. 🐐
BS he did it and confessed. He doesn't deserve a new trial. He deserves the sentence he got. Disgusting now hes saying that poor child he tried to murder lied on him. Demons 😈 on the earth 🌎 😢😢
@mathearnius I am sorry you feel like I've been asleep for 30 years. No sir I just remember that sweet voice of that child saying JR did it. I respect your opinion but I absolutely do not agree with you. God bless you and have a beautiful Saturday. Hope I got the day right since I've been sleeping for 30 years. 😆
I was living in Memphis during this time. This case and the football player who was set up to be killed by his GF are two of the episodes on the first 48 that had my family and friends calling all the time to make sure I was safe
Please don't tell me you believe this crap too that he's guilty. Where is the evidence because the children say so they don't mean nothing You got to remember he just got out of prison. He'd been out for a long time. If he wanted to kill his family, he wouldn't dinner a long time when he first got out of prison. You people believe everything Stop believing everything yall hear and get the facts
@Melissa404Vee 😩yeah it seems so..I catch his live videos often and he chain smokes weed and cigarettes. You can tell there's a lot of unresolved pain when he speaks.
I've seen his videos and it's sad to see his pain..Not only seeing your uncle killing your family but hurtn u and probably not just mental pain but physical..
Detective Carolyn Mason got a recording from the kid that survived the stabbing. Also, those medical reports of that child will not reveal mind altering drugs in his or her system. Junior's case is weak as Kool Aid! 100 packs and still weak!
Tony Armstrong was a heck of a detective! Can't deny it! Our city needs a reincarnation of him for Memphis police chief instead of what we got! The city doomed with all these shameless politicians and public figures.
Child please they are crazy if u let that man back out into society...the child that survived this horrible ordeal is grown now and he point blank said Junior hurt him😢 PLEASE LEAVE HIM WHERE HE IS AT...LIFE WITHOUT THE POSSIBILITY OF PAROLE.😮😮
I remember this case very vividly. This monster killed his brother and tried to kill all of his bothers childern he killed his bothers girlfriend along whith a couple that was just there visiting. This monster confessed when one of the badly injured children pointed him out as the person that shot his daddy and mommy and as the person tgat stabbed him. Now you want to get off after brutally killing members of your own family. Wow, this dude is the devil, believe that🤬😡
@mathearnius yeah you say that!!! But I also heard that child say out of his own mouth, while laying in the hospital bed recovering. That The man he called Uncle juior is who stabbed me and my siblings. And he's also the one that shot my mommy and daddy. Now you can say what you want, but I believe that babyboy. Who was there and was also harmed. You and the monster that you are protecting, should be ashamed of yourselves and need to just stop and let all of these victims rest in peace.
@@angelsudduth4951it was said after 8 hours of coercion. They just showed the blip on First 48 in which the child finally said what the police wanted him to. You have no idea how intertwined these gangs and the police are in Memphis. Add TV to it, and you can convince the public of anything.
I remember they tried to blame it on a Mexican gang that committed that horrific crime. Jr did it he admitted to the crime. That poor boy that is a man now has to live with that every day 😢 my heart ❤️ breaks for him and his family. Jr can rot in jail.
If you watched the trial, the detective advised if wasn't Jessie's semen. Nobody else was tested during the entire investigation...That, among other things, is how bad the police/detectives handled this case...🙄🙄
What a pro, smiling ear-to-ear for a nothing, robbing a couple and beforehand having a recreational get together. It sounds more like a sucker paunch while your head is turned. Herrington v. Dotson, 2024 U.S. App. LEXIS 10430, __ F.4th __
Huh What he doesn't deserve anything other than to remain in prison until he too draws his last and final breath he committed those heinous crimes and confessed live on television so boom there you have
@@mathearnius RIGHT!! Under another video of Jessie's trial, there were comments implying CJay initially ID' another guy, then it was changed to Jessie. Not arguing, but never found anything where they ever followed-up with that. But, a victim having head trauma + heavy medication is something any defense attorney can question...Also, CJay recently wrote on his FB page he had been taking ADHD meds at the time as well (at that young age). Too much going on with one young child...🤔🤔
I remember that specific episode story and case as well 1 of the saddest episodes of the show The First48 I'll never ever and I do mean ever forget it for as long as the Lord bless me with the breath to breathe fresh air out of
I know this isn’t the same guy who was on the first 48 who unalived his brother and 3 adults 2 children and injured the others trying to get his conviction overturned😳👀
I think the episode is called the House on Lester Street. Look up The First 48 and type in the House on Lester Street. I agree! A child named you as the killer! He didn't stutter. He called out your name! Ju-nior. Junior! How can you say you didn't do it when there's evidence saying so and you left a surviving child? That to me says you are absolutely guilty!
I remember watching this case on the show "The First 48 hours". He confessed cause he felt guilty for killing all those people. So stick in needle in deep!
MLK had a dream for these creatures.Unfortunately they have turned his dream into a murderous black nightmare. They have no one to blame but themselves. Please pray for this race. They need all the help that we humans can give them.
Someone is denying history. The irony of a group of people renowned for their parasitic debauchery and lack of empathy looking down on anyone is the joke.
It must feel awful having no choice but to express yourself anonymously in this way? To only feel comfortable sharing your thoughts and opinions online because you're too cowardly and weak to do it any other way must be frustrating. But what is the opinion of a coward really worth? 🫤
@@mathearnius No not at all…..if you cannot control yourself banging on tables & screaming before a judge then you cannot control yourself in real life…..makes you look guilty in a murder case.
And it was funny watching the lady officer behind him run and jump every 2 seconds, she was so scared, she was like man you ain't gone kill me in this court room 😂
