Holy f**k! This song straight made me feel so emotional, it reminded me of my first love who died in a horrific car accident. We had broken up for almost a year, she moved on and so did I but somehow found our way back to each other. I mean we had plans to get married and everything but things were hard for us because we were 18/19 years old and had been dating since I was 15 and she was 16. But out of no where one day she called me and I had found out she lived a few hours away, we talked for a few weeks and decided to try and pick up where we left off. I was supposed to go pick her up after I got out of work, her being stubborn as ever decided to call her mom and tell her she was driving down with a friend and was going to surprise me. At work I was so excited, I couldn’t sit still, couldn’t focus, I felt like a kid again. I couldn’t wait to see and hold my best friend and love of my life again!! Needless to say as I was clocking out of work her mom, dad and brother were waiting for me....... I never got to see her again and I refused to go to her funeral, I refused to have my Last memory of her in a casket. I will always love you mi Reyna! RIP Gina Marie LeBlanc!

I just heard this song for the first time. I listened to it 3 times in a row, crying alll the way through. Only one person comes to mind when i think of this song. He was murdered by police in 2017. Since then, Ive always told people 'love leaves or it dies". and when "she says we break up when were young or say good bye when we die, it really resonated with me.
