We’ve been Jessie Reyez fans for a while now. The R&B singer with the fierce attitude and addictive confidence has risen through Vevo’s ranks during the past few years. Her DSCVR and LIFT work was riveting, and it’s been a thrill to see her artistic vision - in place since we first connected with her - continuously blossom. It’s incredible how she can make you feel her emotions, however I think she thinks a lot more on her vocals than it appears. Her range is amazing and her vocal control, incredible... she uses her ‘sound’ in an incredibly intelligent way. She’s an amazing artist who makes it look easier than it truly is 😅

Sometimes they like the love you give, it feeds their ego. But deep down, they don't care about you. You die a little everyday and give them immortality. I'll TRY to keep it short: I've learned to think "more" with my head than my heart. The difference?? My heart is blind and will say things like "I'm imagining things" "this can't be true"... "it was only one time"'... "It was nothing"... "maybe things will get better". My mind will say "This is not good for you"... "You need to stay away from this"... "You don't deserve this and it's killing you"... "This will kill you"… "I'm not happy". Well it's not as easy or simple as it sounds, can take a lot of heartache to learn for some. Random: why are all the toilet papers still gone in supermarkets as if the cure is in a roll of Scotts?

Anyone else cried while singing this? She really hit the nail on this one, the same exact feelings. I got chills the first time I heard it. I had a huge fight with someone I gave my heart to, and that feeling of "I deserve better!". And then I turned on my music, and this song started playing. It was like she took exactly how I was feeling in that moment, and made a beautiful piece. When I got home from work that night, while in the shower. It came on again, and while singing. my absolute favorite part of this video is at 2:00 when you can watch her switch from being in pain and hurt to her being mad and then standing up to him and yelling straight to him saying how much he messed her up. Crazy how beautiful this whole video is and how many emotions it makes you feel and how many emotions she can show by her facial expressions and changes in her voice and her head tilts. ❤️🥺

Her and Sia are 2 artists who have so much raw emotion in their voices. You can honestly feel their pain when they sing. I bet she is amazing live. Changing topics completely I love Eminems taste in music. All of the female artists he decides to collab with are amazing. And the only reason Eminem is doing a song with them is cause like us hs is a fan of their music. He has worked with Sia, Rihanna, and Jesse. I keep falling more and more in love with this song. I got into Jessie's music (hard) pre-3/9. On 3/9, my 11 yr old dog passed away, and then Covid19 began blowing up here, and my darkness got darker than ever. Jessie is slowly bringing me back to music (hadn't listened to any music since that day), which is slowly bringing me back to life. Thank you for that. 🖤🎈

Ladies....I'm so sorry if you're feeling this way. Just know it gets better. And it is usually something you feel once you have given yourself to someone physically....too soon. -Just in case you needed to hear someone say it. No one is entitled to your lady bits. I'm here to tell you if you are able to resist physical temptation, and wait until you know that person deserves to have access to you and will do right by you... Then you don't really have to worry about this. These feeling of heart ache can be greatly minimized if not avoided all together. Lol....I should write a song about that.

Renee Acosta we were in a relationship and I’m sick, going through the worst years of my life with basically never ending illness. I told him about it before we got together, and I’m so tired all the time and I don’t think about sex nearly as often as someone else my age.. every fight I’d hear “I’m not satisfied” “you’re not attracted to me like I am you”(not true) and any time we didn’t have sex it’s “you treat me like a friend” “you’re not doing enough” ect. And now I feel like I’m not good enough for him or for anybody now that I’m dealing with so many health issues. I’ve lost all my friends over the years and now him.

I was driving down the road at 4:00 in the morning coming back from the hospital with my daughter extremely tired when I heard figures and I was instantly hooked. I had never heard her before and never heard it again after that on the radio. Ever since she’s gotten me through some of the worst times in my life. I got my straitjackets custom made tattooed on my back. Love you girl!
