My husband had mental health problems and the devil never ceased to trouble him. He took his own life but satan didn’t win, as he was saved through listening to gospel music. He is now where the weary is at rest. Praise god.

I was listening to this song when I was on my knees, crying for my mom’s health. I was devastated because she has cancer and wasn’t doing well at all. God talked to me through this praise, and when I opened the Bible, it was Psalms 27. God confirmed that we should just wait on Him. We still need a miracle, but now we have faith and praise while we wait! My mom is a woman who follows our Lord’s words, and I ask you to pray for her health as well. Her name is Maria Juracy and she has a serious Lymphoma.

I wrote The Wicked Shall Cease Their Troubling in response to Woodstock. My mother had taken me with her to Woodstock and I wrote the chorus to this song 🎵 then. I wrote the verses in 1993. I was battling lymphoma at that time and expected to die. I like 👍 ♥ this version by Jessie Dixon. He is now sitting in heaven and being blessed in God's presence. And he joins his beloved wife and children there. (Four of his children preceded him in death.)

I can't imagine anyone listening to Jessy Dixon and not being blessed by his spirit, enthusiasm and the love that he brought to every song. Anybody can sing a gospel song but Jessy preaches a gospel song. May he rest in peace and rise in glory.

AMEN, Jessy was so spirited, his works follow him. He ministered in song and God gave him a wonderful voice. I believe he is singing in that heavenly choir.
