Jesus is the Way (Come Follow Me | The Book of Mormon: A Master Class | (#17), Mosiah 1-3) 

Because of the teachings of THIS church, I better understood the fullness of Christ’s Atonement. As a Protestant I more fully understood the crucifixion and not really Gethsemane. In this church, I came to more fully understand Christ’s Atonement in the Garden and on the cross and I am so grateful!!

Just thought you would like to know that at our stake conference last weekend, the visiting area seventy talked about the very same thing you did about the Atonement - both Gethsemane and the cross. He mentioned that he learned about the quotes found in the BOM from a "gospel scholar" video that he watched. He did not mention your name, but I'm sure it was you!!! What we are really saying is that there is no other way except through Zion. That is what we are really saying when we say Come onto Jesus, we are saying Come to Zion to find Jesus in Zion. So the Lord has shifted the promised blessings of the Saints from the Bible to make the blessings avaliable in the latter-days instead from out of Zion. The Prophet Isaiah emphasied all this... And that shift that the Lord had made to move the blessings to Zion in the last days does not go down well with many Born Again Evangelist Christians who been taught to believe they can find Jesus in the Bible in their own churches and have the promised blessings of the saints by just reading about them in the Bible instead... And that for many is a hard saying because they believe if you believe the Bible then you have already come onto Jesus. No, you have to come into Zion into the gate in order to find the Lord. But many won't accept this message that we teach. They don't believe the Lord is to be found in Zion in the last days because they belive hes only to be found in the Bible.. Even though the scriptures teach that the Lord will be found in the last days in Zion. Like with half the LGBT finding out that to come onto Jesus means giving up same sex relations and living a single celibate life to marry in the millennium to the opposite sex if not able to marry here in this life or if able to marry entering into a mixed orientation marriage here in this life which are the conditions the Lord sets but some don't accept these conditions of the Lord because what is being asked of the Lord was difficult to do. That is why many of them no longer on the path no more but are wandering down other roads instead while time is running out to get through the door which all the wise are heading towards to go and meet with the Bridegroom.. The Foolish took the easy way, while the wise walked the difficult way which is the only way. The Prophet already told us the truth to the world that in Zion is the Lord and his ways and his authority are to be found if you sincerely want to find him...Then you have to accept the keyholders of his kingdom. Even the prophet Joel teaches this truth found in Joel Chapter 3:14-17. That it's in Zion that the Lord dwells and speaks his words through his prophets from out of Zion in the last days. And that is only possible through a restoration why the Lord has prophets and apostles again on the earth.

My parents would refer to those often during FHE when I was a teenager to answer my questions. Thanks for those books! Now my own kids are reaching the age of starting to ask more questions about the gospel. I just love everything you are contributing to help us grow our faith.

In Proverbs 8:26, we read from footnote 26a, that the "the highest part of the dust of the world," is the head (or first) of the dust (or elements) of the earth." So during the creation even the "elements" (dust) of the earth are obedient to God's command. Even the elements of the earth were obedient to God. Because "man" is not always obedient to God, then "man" can be less than the dust of the earth simply because "man" chooses not to obey. At least, that is my take on the phrase, "less than the dust of the earth."
