I remember our brother Brad Scott say that our heavenly Father is well aware who's name is being *evoked* Abba listened to our prayers back when we had not even heard of His Hebrew Name yet. That's how wonderful He is! Every once in a while I tune in to Doug Hamp's Q&A sessions, on one ocassion a gentleman in the chat called me out for referring to the Son as Yeshua, He wrote something to the effect of, 'you don't need to do so, it's unnecessary unless ur Jewish of course!' I replied, you have as much freedom to refer to Him as Jesus as I do in His Hebrew Name. The older I get the more I realize that pettiness is often unfruitful🌿 🕊

Wow, Bill, THANK YOU for that! YESHUA, "Salvation Right Now"! I still say "Jesus" so often because I live in a remote area with no Messianic fellowships and no one would know who YESHUA is. I have started using both, for instance in my texts "YESHUA/Jesus" to gently inform them. I have loved my "Jesus" 70 years. I thought it didn't matter, 70 languages, 70 different names that all identify Him as SAVIOUR, and He KNOWS every one! I do have several stories where HE defended His Name (Jesus) and I have no issue with which Name you use to call on HIM, just as long as you DO call on Him! Calling on HIM to SAVE NOW (Hoshanna) is what is most important, whichever language you speak. The late great Rabbi Yacov Rambsel once said, "To pronounce JESUS' Name correctly you must quote the entire Scripture from the Genesis through The Revelation IN ONE BREATH!" In that case, NONE of us "correctly" identifies our Beloved!

It is my opinion that when people bash their Brothers and Sisters for the words they use, within reason of course, ....they're only showing their lack of grace and their immaturity. That is when I realize it's that person doing the bashing that needs our grace and love and prayers all the more. We need to handle those people with compassion, yet firmness. Just as we would our children as they learn. (edit: I >was< one of those people doing the bashing, once upon a time. Yes, sadly, I went through the "Torah Terrorist" stage. :-( )

I appreciate your explanation, Bill. I do believe, that once you know, you are responsible for what you know. We don't have the excuse, "I didn't know.". I, and many loved ones have been healed in Jesus name before we knew.

This happens by different groups. I have been rudely corrected by pronouncing a word wrong. Not Jacob's Tent. Torah terrorists. Mention "grace" to some..... oh my! I thank God for grace.

What about people who refuse to recognize that his true name has been hidden? Iesous is a transliteration of Yeshua or Joshua aka Yahusha. Praise of Yah= Yahudah. While I would never condemn anyone for using the name Jesus in ignorance should we not stand firm on his given name Yeshua or Yahusha? I love that he has revealed his true name to us in these last days and I believe he wants his name known to the world to make a distinction between clean and unclean. While we have an unclean language we can call on his Qodesh name Yahusha. It sounds so amazing and I love him for it. I would that the whole world loved his rightful name his lawful and beautiful name Yahusha or even Yeshua.🙏🏼🙏🏼❤️❤️ many barukah’s @ Jacobs Tent

I believe Yeshua knows who He is the name of Jesus is not wrong to use. He is the Master and He knows people's hearts who call out to Him. His mercy is so vast and He knows who calls on Him.

I wrestled with his name for 20 years , seeking , knocking , asking and In English his name is Joshua . Why ? Because how do you pronounce the name of the 6th book of the Bible , the name of the Leader who took them into the Promise Land , the name of the High Priest after the return from Babylon ? They should all be 'pronounced' the same way because they are all the same Name . However I'm pretty sure the name you have been calling upon in Faith with a Pure Heart is the one He hears. imo Now anyone want to discuss the Father's Name ?

Arrogance and condescension will never win hearts. I often wonder HOW Yeshua spoke to people to make them feel loved AND made them want to follow Him. I highly doubt He was arrogant and haughty, but He wrapped them in His truth with so much love, understanding, and meek authority, (power under control), they immediately longed to be close to Him!! May we all follow His example and speak His truth in His love!!!

If someone wants to to argue about what his name is just tell them to read revelation chapter 3 verse 12 and then ask them what they think
