The unity between the Father and His Son is expressed in the Gospel of John: "I and my Father are one." This union was integral to both the creation of humanity and its redemption. As the divine conversation unveiled, "Let us make man in our image," so does the victory hymn of deliverance, sung by the redeemed, praises "Him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb, forever and ever."
Jesus's prayer for His disciples was for them to reflect the oneness He shared with His Father, not in physical form as one individual with multiple heads, but in unity of purpose and dedication to their Master's cause. The Father and the Son are not mere fractions of a 'three-one God'; they are two distinct personages, harmoniously intertwined in the mission and realization of redemption. Every person who partakes in this grand salvation, from the first to the last, is called to attribute the honor, glory, and praise of their deliverance to both God and the Lamb.

Had to look up socinianism noun (Eccl. Hist.) The tenets or doctrines of Faustus Socinus, an Italian theologian of the sixteenth century, who denied the Trinity, the deity of Christ, the personality of the Devil, the native and total depravity of man, the vicarious atonement, and the eternity of future punishment. His theory was, that Christ was a man divinely commissioned, who had no existence before he was conceived by the Virgin Mary; that human sin was the imitation of Adam's sin, and that human salvation was the imitation and adoption of Christ's virtue; that the Bible was to be interpreted by human reason; and that its language was metaphorical, and not to be taken literally. :)

Peace be with you, When I was a child God told me something I never forgot. Something is coming in from space that will give men heart attacks and no babies will be born. Now I know it as men impotent with fear and wormwood or planet X is the same size as Neptune. Praise God

thank you, i have shared the Sunday from proof its not our real sabbath, people wont budge, and same with all pagan holidays, i came out of all this about 10 years ago and i dont like the 7th day church however im a sabbath keeper, and do not do holidays it been lonely and difficult at times thank you i have several people who are showing our bible truths amen to all of you helping us grow and re post our truths amen, lord help us all in the last days,

The 'let us make man in OUR image' is not plural referencing the Father and the Son. As the Son is himself 'begotten' and born as a descendant of Adam and is himself OF the creation. Messiah, the Son of God, is of the creation. Therefore the plural OUR in genesis cannot be referencing the Father and one who is also part of the creation, ie the son. The second Adam, the Son of God, came after the first Adam... whoever the OUR is is referencing a non created, non begotten, eternal power/authority (Elohim) outside of creation (whereas the Son is inside of creation)

The Son has always been with the Father he proceeded foward from the Father. Everything was created through him and for him.

@@Mseth24 correct, according to roman catholic orthodoxy (pagan corruptions). but NOT according to the hebrew scriptures, which are the only word of God. Please show me from the actual scriptures (ie, the Torah or Tanakh) and I'll believe you.

@@Mseth24 great, you've quoted a known Gnostic text full of greco-roman ideology. . If this verse contains truth, it will be found in the actual scriptures first. Have anything from the prophets that teach such things
