Jesus wasn't hated for being kind. The Pharisees and scribes didn't have a problem with him healing a man's withered hand. They had a problem with the authority he claimed over when and how to heal him (authority greater than the Sabbath). They didn't mind him healing a lame man. They reviled his claim to have the authority to forgive sins (only God can do that). They didn't have a problem the kind things Jesus did. They hated Jesus because he claimed to be God. They hated him more when he proved it over and over, even resurrecting himself after they killed him for making that claim. You, Christian, will not be hated for being kind, healing, giving, feeding. You will be hated for giving the exclusive testimony that Jesus Christ is Lord and God! And for this cause, we must gladly face being reviled and lied about, accused, and scorned. For His name, we should joyfully be flogged and slain should it come to that. You, Christian, should be kind, yes, but our calling is not simply to be kind. It is to proclaim that Christ lives and reigns and will return one day. That the way things are will not always be, and that the offer of life has been given to all who would repent and receive Him. For this you will be hated! And a blessed thing that would be! "How will they hear without someone to proclaim Him?" (Romans 10:14c)

Congratulations on the new channel!! Thank you for quoting scripture. I have a quote for you... "A Bible that's falling apart usually belongs to someone who isn't!" Yours is not falling apart, but I see zero dust on it. So few people realize the enemy knows the Bible. Hang in there!!

Interesting video. You're catholic I take it? I've been engaging with theology on a lot of levels for the past short while and I've found many answers and many questions, most of which are leading me towards orthodoxy than anything else. I believe a lot of what you say here is inherently correct, but I'd be very interested in hearing what your belief that the evidence of all of this is. Not that I dispute that there is evidence, but I wonder if you have any that you could reveal to me and that I in the same way might be able to reveal something to you.
