I’ve literally never heard of this woman but so many different vids keep popping up on my feed of this performance. I don’t even want to watch or listen to a real song because it’s funnier without context
Unpopular opinion: I like Solange better than Beyonce. This is not putting them against each other. I just like Solange. I don't get the hype around Beyonce though. But to each their own ☺️.
@@basedblackgirl9920 it’s when ppl said Beyoncé was the female MJ when there’s a whole Janet that really threw me off. Solange is far more diverse too lol
@@Adovian_ Okay that’s where I’d have to disagree, Beyoncé put out R&B, Hip hip, Country, Blues, Rock, Soul, Funk, Gospel, Electronic, and trap. Solange primarily stays in her own style, which is very unique and makes her stand out. But Beyoncé has more diversity.
We see what nicki saw in our black queen. We love our black queen so inspirational, our gyal from Mozambique Africa ❤️😍 Maputo city we Stan you kween ❤️😍😍😍 bad boy no recipe 😜
I still can’t believe a year after this performance, no 2nd single, dropped from the label, and rumored shelved album. Like, the song was bad but jeez, I didn’t think it was THAT bad
I agree. I think it was dogpiled hate and not deserved but I can’t feel bad for her at the same time she didn’t help herself at all 😭 she shoulda played nice…
@@skittyjive9135 my black ass cares about real racism that disenfranchises and oppresses poc especially black people hun, not that some random singer decided to tan too much! You guys are accusing her of blackfishing, tell me what black woman on the planet looks like her! Maybe someone who is 30% black at most
@@Nothinggirl Oh yes, we're just going to ignore the music video where she has grills on her teeth, braids, bandanas, and sings about liking men who are 'so hood,' as well as the time she had dreadlocks. The tanning machine gave her all of those somehow. But even putting all of that aside, the way she performed it was the worst possible way she could perform it. I don't know whose idea it was to put pauses in like she's at her own personal concert where everybody knows her song and would cheer at those precise moments, but the way people react would be... well, exactly what happened. If she had just performed normally without pauses and not stuck her tongue out, I guarantee she wouldn't have received nearly as much hate. Pretty much everyone hated the song already (except for the electric guitar) for making a bad spinoff of a hip-hop classic, and then she gave a performance where the crowd was so quiet you could literally hear someone yell 'no we're not'. *All of that* is why her career is dead. It's not just a stumble, it's a full roll down the hill of bad mistakes.
You guys are toxic to the people you claim you love. She looked like she had a good time, she prolly thought she did a good job, but yall so called "fans" shat all over her. As if this woman hasn't been through enough, struggling with her image.
The amount of bullying this video & the comment section is giving… I’m lost for words. Things like this doesn’t benefit anyone & it certainly doesn’t benefit Jesy. did you forget about her documentary? why not just be nice instead? It is not that hard
