rc jet boating it a ton of fun.... i forget the channels offhand, but there are a few guys making aluminum hull jetboats, with FPV, all sorts of bells and whistles, I won't stop until I build and own one. If you can't afford the real thing, a toy helps. ;)
Means that a piece of driftwood (stick) is caught (sucked) in the intake grate of the jet drive. This restricts the flow of water thru the jet, and performance is compromised.
Can someone explain what happened at 4:20? Was it the driver or did the boat not have enough power? Are these rapids about the biggest one would attempt to navigate in one of these types of boats?
1) The boat is powered by a jet drive (not a propeller) and since the boat doesn't perform fully, it's likely that something such as a stick or piece of driftwood is caught in there. When that happens, performance / thrust is compromised. Boat has plenty of power, driver did fine, just needs to clear the pump (jet ) to be back in business. 2) No, these jet boats can navigate bigger stuff. Especially the twins.
Your RPM stays high but you lose all power when you suck the guldern debris in your jet. I dont know if I would take my viper in this kind of white water.
