Yeah, Other than the infamous lag on the original hardware, it's a great game! Original story, one of the best soundtracks on the N64 (in my opinion), and decent gameplay! Hey, at least they ported it to the Xbox One on the Rare replay game.
i guess Im asking the wrong place but does someone know of a tool to get back into an Instagram account..? I was dumb forgot my password. I love any help you can give me
Jet Force Gemini, an under-appreciated gem by Rare for the Nintendo 64, with excellent music, being covered by a highly talented musician. Life is good.
I never in a hundred years thought I'd see remixed tracks of Jet Force Gemini. Quite literally my favorite game next to Mischief Makers. I really, really wish Jet Force Gemini saw more limelight. It's a game that deserves so much more recognition than it got (or lack thereof).
I really wished that Microsoft did right by buying rareware from Nintendo and made a sequel to this amazing game! and not fucking up BnK or erfect dark. Viva piñata were good games but Microsoft needed to let them ake a sequel to thjis game!!
2016 and this is still the only JFG medley on youtube. What an under apreciated gem was this game. But even if there was more jfg medleys i dont think that anyone could do a better one. This is just godlike.
I always told people about this game... And no one knows what I was talking about. This and Winback were two of those GEMS for sure. (BTW your pun should have been the 'rare' part, as they made the game lol. My favorite from the N64 was this though. Got it by chance, as my parents got me for Christmas when I was in like 6th grade... I finally opened it like a couple days later among the others I knew I wanted, and was forever blown away by it. Thanks for the cover bud; good, solid work. Could tell you put a lot into it.
After 14 years with this game unbeaten as a child my friend and I are going back to this game and closing the childhood gaming gap once and for all. As a kid we thought of this game to be unbeatable. It will be beaten
I had a flashback and I remembered the game and startes looking for the tracks... and then this appeared in my suggestions. Not disappointed a little bit. I didn't know you made this cover. It's amazing as all your other covers.
Loved it. Your take on the iconic soundtrack had me speechless. The nostalgia was overwhelming, and your heavy rendition of the pieces is absolutely badass. Not to mention the fact that you resemble Syn Gates, who is one of my favorite players.
@TheWolfrain64 No, the video was recorded while I recorded the audio, the piano was transferred to MIDI like notes into Mixcraft where I fixed the timing of completely off notes, usually just octave notes that didn't get recorded at the same time. Or if you mean if I was playing piano before that section, then no, I did the first part and second part as different takes. :)
This game's soundtrack is phenomenal, and so is this medley. Epic playing dude, and I love the song selection. It's about time somebody uploaded a Jet Force Gemini guitar cover on RU-vid, and this totally does not disappoint :-D I neeed to favorite this.
Wow, this is amazing! I thought I was the only one that loved the music from Jet Force Gemini. You should come back and do a part two eventually. Eschebone is my favorite from JFG. You could also add Rith Essa, Mizar's Palace, the Floyd Mission theme, or even the Boss Battle theme. You could even get real crazy and throw in the hidden disco music! Any, kudos for an awesome cover.
Dude, this is pure gold. This game was my childhood, along with Perfect Dark, DK 64 and Ocarina of Time. While many of the people I've talked to over the years remembered the other titles, never met anyone who loved or even played JFG. Loved your medley, literally got shivers as each awesome theme opened. Please tell me I can buy MP3s of your work somewhere.
@MASTERMALEC Sry dude, no, unfortunately. I do everything by ear so I can keep making covers every week. Tabs would take way too much time if I did them for every song I do. :\
This is absolutely dumbfounding. I really got flabbergasted at how well you arranged these themes, and I was truly amazed to hear the Rith Essa Mine/Water Ruin theme, my personal favorite, since I thought the medley would only include the most "energetic" themes, but all of a sudden when I heard the piano I went: "Oh god, you've got to be kidding me". Thank you for making such a pleasant arrange. I haven't seen such magnificent content on RU-vid in a very long while.
In a time when I just felt confused by 1st Person Shooters, along game Jet Force Gemini and I was able to love a shooter who allowed me to see my own character I was controlling in a game. Not only that, but Vela was beautiful to look at while playing while Lupus the Dog was quite a unique character for a Shooting Game. Who would have thought that a shooting tank Dog would be so fun to play during the second half of the game? Thank you RARE and thank you Jet Force Gemini for existing. Last boss was too hard for me to defeat and collecting the Tribals required a strategy guide but I was thankful to have played such an awesome game that was a blast.
I keep coming back to this video after a year since you posted it. This is my favorite N64 game of all time, and I'm glad someone else appreciates it as much as I do. Keep up the great work! I'm excited for your new videos and Thunder day! Best, John
Wow man, you amaze me every time with your ability to blend all these songs together and make it sound like one big composition. The Water Ruins theme sounds so freaking epic, but all the other songs sound really brutal too. Keep up the good work! Oh, thanks for registering to my forum by the way ;) Cheers, Casper.
Shit, watching another video where cerulean's music was, I was going to ask you to do a JFG soundtrack cover, but you were faster dude. Great job man and great knowledge of games hahaha.
JFG is amazing! I put so many hours into that game. It's a real shame it didn't carry on through the consoles. Imagine what it could be today. It's still badass on N64 though. This cover brought back a lot of memories.
u got a source for ur second quote? thats amazing for me because i grew up playing jet force as one of my first games, then got into halo and love it greatly years later.
+KingWill185 I used to know the source for that. Now I only remember the trivia. I'll have to look it up but it might take a while because I don't know where to look.
sickass cover of some of the songs off that game, i totally agree with you it is one of the most underrated game on the N64 line up, played that game to death thanks for the return of my childhood memories... hats off to you
Dude, I gotta say after watching several of your vids, its people like you that actually inspire me to continue to practice my guitar. Im glad you do this for fun :D
Oh my god this is brilliant. One of my most cherished childhood games. You sir have earned my eternal respect for the rest of my life based on this video alone. 8l
"Those baby tribals melt my heart..." I tend to melt those baby tribals >_> oooops~ Wait, "oops" is for when someone does something on accident. Maybe "sorry" works better here
