Actually, the game is from Rare Studios, they were affiliated to Nintendo at the time but didn't belong to them. But in 2002, Microsoft bought Rare Studios, that's why the 3rd opus of Banjo came out on Xbox console; so if a remake of Jet Force Gemini is made (it won't) it will be by Rare on Xbox ^^
This game is included in the Rare replay for Xbox one if anyone wanted to play a more modern version. Great game. An overlooked gem in the n64 library.
This is one of those speedruns that kids and teens can do that isn't too complicated. I recall doing a Speedrun time of 2 hours 15 minutes as a teen. Mizar was the hardest as I really had to aim properly. After that you become so good at the mechanics you are unstoppable in multiplayer.
I had to go to the neighbors to play this game because my mom wouldn’t get it for me. He gave it to me when he moved and I just hid it from her. This one, mischief makers, and Silicon Valley were my top 3 games that weren’t the obvious mainstream titles.
I don’t know if it you can but if it had the 2 controller setup you can do on goldeneye would make this game so much better. Move with one controller aim with the other
