We review the JET JDP-17 17in Drill Press. This floor model was completely redesigned inside and out. They've definitely created one of the simplest, variable speed drill presses. It also features JET's XACTA Laser, as well as a built in LED light to reduce shadows.

Yes, please run the machine, drill a hole and show the work light and laser in use, and the depth stop in use. Lets see the table move too.

Thanks for your input Nelson Melamund Since most of our machinery is brand new - we want to keep the machines in the best new condition possible and let our customers be the first to run these machines. Eventually we'll have one that we'll get to play with, but in the meantime it's the only one we have right now, so we're doing what we can to keep it clean and nice for our showroom. But we'll definitely do more videos on it once we get more in. Thanks again.

It would be good if you learned how to use this before shooting, instead of saying "I don't know how to use this" and "hey that's how it works".

Where are those Jet presses made? Cost? Probably several hundred dollars. In my opinion not worth it. I buy antique machines that are indestructible and completely servicable. $100 or less and a little bit of work and I end up with a bulletproof machine.

While you're at it, take a public speaking class. "Uh" and "umm" start to get pretty annoying when you hear them over and over and over, etc. I lost count at somewhere well over 50.
