That's a tough one, obviously stay off the throttle as much as possible and keep RPM lower. A higher pitch prop say 15/22 will help keep RPM lower at a slightly higher speed, which may help. It will decrease top speed however. Not sure how much extra range until tested
I've tried messaging you guys on Instagram a couple time, what year models need this mod in particular. My dealership said mine doesnt need that because it was redesigned on mine. 2021 kawi ultra.
@kawiperformance what if my ski is still under warranty. I wouldn't want to do anything that void it. Your thoughts? It's a 2020 stx160 lx. I just bought it and added a 3-year warranty. Maybe do it the moment it runs out? When I do do it, would my engine take a one or two bearing setup? Thanks much for any advice!
