One trip. Thirty countries. Twenty-eight thousand miles. And a lifetime of memories. Watch as HondaJet customers Julian and Kim MacQueen recount some of the highlights from their global tour.
Unnecessary above comment! Lovely couple. Thank you for sharing. My experience as well about cousins. There is kindness everywhere. You just have to extend it and you will receive it. This couple is kind.
When I hear this couple talk, I think "there is still hope for the USA and the world". Great video, experiences explained with passion and respect. Thank you from a citizen of Spain (Canary islands) !
It is no wonder to me that you're both so successful in business, in your relationships, and in life. You're view on the world and it's people warms my heart and fills me with hope. The most profound thing to me is what Julian said at around 18:42 "you really do find what you're looking for"! One of the most inspiring videos I've seen in a long time! Thank you - a cousin from Alabama. :)
The optimist in me has long thought that if all of the countries of the world would use the money that they spend on defense and instead give travel vouchers to their citizens the world would be a better place. I have been fortunate enough to have traveled half way around the world, and agree that we are cousins that all want the same basic things out of life as defined in Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs. The pessimist in me knows that that will NEVER happen. Additionally, not just because of greed, but partly because of religion. More people have been killed in the name of (what ever) God, that for any other reason in human history.
Absolutely, I agree. That is an unparalleled word of wisdom coming from someone who has travelled around the globe identifying with everybody they ran into and viewed as family members irrespective of all the cultural differences. It was like travelling with them on that plane sharing every moment with them.. Thank you for making us realize once more that we are all one family planted at various parts of the world. Welcome back.
You are truly exceptional people and I wish you many more fulfilling travels around the world. Hope you will include South Africa as one of the countries on your future destinations. Great couple indeed.
Thank you for sharing your journey with the Honda jet mr & mrs McQueen even with this years upheaval I hope both of you are still enjoying flying around the states
"If you wanna go out into the world and find how different we are, you find how differet we are. If you wanna go out into the world and find people that are disagreable, and confrontational, and you think that's how they are, you will find those people". Amazing and wisdom words! Our reality is a mirror that's reflects ourselves! I'm editing because I almost forgot: God bless both of you so much!
I met your artist sister in Puerto Vallarta, Mx last year and she told me of this trip in your Honda Jet. I have watched it’s development since it was first introduced at Airventure in Oshkosh as a concept jet. Good show.
Legendary Formula 1 engines, one of the most reliable car - Accord, best selling motorcycle in the world - Super Cub, and the Honda Jet... The Power of Dreams!
It’s nice to hear that wherever we travel, we see what we want to see.So it is all within us how we see, people are all same and it’s our approach or the lens we use. Truly a very nice video and thanks to the couple for sharing their travel
What an awesome voyage. I have travelled extensively, lived and worked in other countries in the hotel and restaurant business and I agree with you 100%, if you are open to the best that people have to offer in any country that's what you attract. Attitude is everything and I have never been disappointed. You guys rock!
One of the most enjoyable twenty minutes watching a couples adventures with their new jet. Having followed the history of the HondaJet since inception to testing to fruition...I cannot think of a better testimonial. Wonderful couple. Very open-minded in their attitude and enthusiasm. One of my favorite lines: "In Japan, Honda is a verb". Made me think, Jeez, my first wheels was a Honda 305 motorcycle, in 1966. I have a Honda lawnmower, granddaughter has a Honda Civic, as does her mother. It is a verb.
Greetings Julian and Kim This may be 16 mths late but I have been following the Honda since before it was released and I am more than convinced now to own one. God bless
You two are such a lovely couple and so blessed to have done this journey. But one thing you missed is that big island south of Bali, Australia. Being a pilot myself, I am very envious of your Honda, just love it.
I am very impressed. I absolutely love your attitude and approach to people around the world. Well done indeed. You are a great couple and much as I love aviation, my takeaway from this was about you, your attitudes and approach to others.
I really enjoyed this couple their spirit of adventure is inspiring no wonder they are successful in business and life .From one of your cousins in County Leitrim Ireland .
I throughly enjoyed that. Perhaps in my next life I could be so fortunate so as to own a HondaJet. I am blessed w/ a wonderful wife, so I guess I am not too far behind ya'll. It was my pleasure to meet Julian and Kim herein. H O N D A !
Im writing this response at 3:15 am. This video touches on my love for aviation, people and travel. I can relate to the video being a travelling man amd a son of a widow who was a college professor. My mother use to say "to understand people, you must understand their culture and history. My complements to the couple and Honda for this video. Irrespective of what background, culture or race; God expect us to love each other. I agree the USA is a great and wonderful country. I hope people can travel more to other countries to see the love and exchange love for one another. May God bless you and much success to you and your wife.
".....Finding hospitality around the world..." 1000x watching this video I always feel that's the 1st time. Hope I also find a way visiting all my "neighbours":)
Congrats! Beautiful presentation, you guys should make a mini series of your next trip when you go to visit your cousins for a longer time. Thank you it was very enjoyable.
Since the wonderful Honda Jet has a nautical mileage limitation, I wondered how they journeyed around the globe to visit 28 countries in 65 days, for they couldn't cross the Atlantic, nor the Pacific. However, at 3:11 of the video they highlighted their flight route to the countries highlighted in yellow. Then, I understood. Nice video and it was good to see that the couple enjoyed their journey at their respective ages in life. Vicariously enjoyed same with them. Blessings to them..... This video has me dreaming. If I only had the money for that Honda Jet, I'd do something similar. Lotto is a long shot........
I watched this video a year ago. Watching it again after all the chaos, separation, anti-globalization, and our stupid president that never stops talking nonsense, I think this couple could've been smarter and more far-sighted than anyone sitting in the White House right now. Ironically, our leader wants to win polls from those uneducated Americans and the only way to get those is to act disgracefully to the rest of the world and claim white supremacy. Glad to see the bright side of the educated Americans and their effort to a better world.
Well done guys, I admire your spirit of adventurism and outlook on life. I'm a 19 000 hour retired airline pilot...and I can relate very well...but gone are the days of 3 or 4 day night stops to explore a new place, :-)
Hey Doodlebug. Remember when you flew with me to Columbus, GA one afternoon after school in a 172? Congratulations on your business success and love for aviation. Chap
Wonderful narration and compilation. Honda products are awesome no doubt, they have created a niche for themselves in the Indian market.Very trustworthy and reliable. Thanks to Honda for a wonderful journey around different cultures around the world. And how can we forget ,What a wonderful and humble couple,God bless and best wishes from INDIA.
That’s actually my long time dreams. As an airline pilot, I always talking to my wife about flying ourselves around the world in a private jet (if we can afford one). But we would have done it for years (not 65days like you) if financial is not a problem. We would love to spend a week or two in each country and stop in all countries if possible.
Truly enjoyed you posting this. The Honda Jet is a beautiful machine sleek and elegant looking. Your journey to all these countries and people you got to experience is inspiring and shows no matter where in this amazing world we live, cultures and religion we are we can all get along if we accept who they are and we are. Thank you!
You both are suck wonderfully spiritual people. I thank all that is for your ability to experience this trip and thank you for sharing it. I wish I knew you both personally. Fine quality and special folks. Thank you for allowing us to share in it.
Amazing. Thank you for sharing with us this wonderful adventure. What a great gift. If your trip equates to eating the appetizers, but not the main course then with this you read the menu to us. I would love the chance to visit these places some day. Thank you.
I’ve literally flown around the world over 100 times! In 2015 I went around the world 15 times alone. Now of course, I’m paid to do it. My shortest was four days.
I have to say, also if I am a German: Whow. I expected a super rich American couple, with the , sorry, typical American attitudes, like big mouth, seeing everything super positive, and so on. And, after 1 Minute of watching, I saw a very very close friend. He explained about their trips around the world. Never pointing to bad circumstances in other countries. Never push them into perfect image. Also the small clips about Kim shows a nice Lady in normal cloths , like you and me. Great personality, both of you. Keep happy please. Uwe
As opposed to the a german stereotype? Ask most europeans how germans are viewed, you will find the germans are how you describe "big mouth.....and so on" in europe. They are the americans of europe other than germans live perpetually shamed for their 1940's tendencies and expansionary plans. The Americans on the other side are perpetually optimistic and have a can do attitude, if it was not for them we'd all be speaking german, and thank God we are not. Your brought up the stereotypes.
Ufi Bavaria you missed the message, don’t stereotype, there are good, humble, cultured and willing to learn people everywhere. There are evil, bad, arrogant people everywhere. Again you generalize regarding where to live, some people may like germany, but for others the freedoms, optimism and creativity of America (currently being attacked by socialist, globalist, big government types) is a blessing. You missed the point entirely, Europeans are so “cultured and educated” that turn out to be rather unwise.
@@ognqski of course in every country you can find people with only good attitudes and also most bad attitudes. I give my own impressions , the impressions of a german wife (she was married with 2 American soldiers) . And i can watch reports in TV (all political directions). And i ask myself, why such a President can be elected. That says all. America is a nice country , yes. maybe the spirit is more optimistic as we have here in Germany/Europe. But our philosophy is not to change other countrys philosophy with weapons. But most of the US people are happy about that. See election results. Thats all.
