I have flown transcontinental in mint on their older A320 but I had a “throne” seat. I have to say it was possibly one of my most enjoyable flights ever. The food was amazing and the seat sooo comfortable ❤️
OMG! When I was flying on Jetblue Mint to London, That woman Charity was my Flight Attendant! What a coincidence! When I was talking with her, she mentioned that she was in a video and I looked back on this and was like WOW! She was probably the best flight attendant ever! She did tell me that she's expecting a baby soon so a big congrats to her! Hope more people get to fly with Charity in the future!
This is a really useful report, Jonny. I fly Air Canada business quite regularly to Europe, but it’s become crazy expensive. I was quoted 9k in early January this year, so booked premium economy and because of my status got an easy upgrade. 9k is ludicrous for a 6-7 hour flight. I don’t think you mentioned prices, but it may be worth flying to NY or Boston and then JetBlue to Europe. Thanks!
I did see some deals for the summer from London Gatwick to JFK for about £1300 return recently, which is ludicrously cheap, but obviously prices fluctuate a lot!
2,000 UK pounds for LHR-JFK return in Mint for this July for me. This summer will be my second time using JetBlue Mint for this route, I took them last year, and loved it so much I'm back again.
Great work capturing the experience on this flight. What I appreciate in your videos is holding on longer during your broll shots. I need to compare airline before choosing and when I can see everything it helps my decision process. So thank you for that.
Nicely done.. 🙏… thanks for reading my comment and also reacting to my feedback..😃..I appreciate that very much , and this was an enjoyable watch and listen .. thanks again for your hard work .. Peace ✌🏻
I think you are a very handsome man who has aged very well! I am glad there are still companies investing heavily into these premium flying products in a world full of budget airlines and cheap travelers! I live in Vancouver and I hope soon they will fly from there to London so I don’t have to put up with mediocre BA and Air Canada!
Another superbly presented report Jonny👌🏻 & yes this product really does seem to be unique to an extent that maybe you won’t really think you’re on a narrow body.
I will be flying jetBlue Core to JFK from LGW in a couple of weeks, they were the most competitive price wise compared to the other carriers. Plus all the stuff like the free WiFi, amenity kit, and great food made it a no brainier for me.
Thanks for a great flight report, JetBlue seem to have a nice business class product! However, I checked prices from CDG to NYC and they are on average 3 times more expensive than AF/DL business class on that route, so I don’t know exactly how they can compete that way! Good luck to them anyway!
Their prices are actually not any lower in many cases and often more. Just found BA/AA $300 cheaper than JB return with a lot more choices of departure in August. Good product but very limited schedule and no lounges on either end are deal breaker for me.
7:10 Does anyone know how airlines accommodate people with severe food allergies? While reviewing the menu, I see a shrimp option. I cannot consume nor smell shellfish. I have to keep an epi-pen with me at all times. Will I have to notify them during booking and they change the menu for that flight? Or would they keep the menu and announce that option not being available due to allergies?
Usually airlines only limit the menu offering to that passenger, or for those with nut allergies it's requested that passengers don't consume nuts, but i'm not sure if it's totally enforced. It's always worth checking with the airline before booking as most airlines will differ in their approaches.
I booked JetBlue Mint class from JFK to LGW based upon all the good reviews.....but I never made it to JFK.....their domestic product is terrible and their OTP is not good. After been on the AC for two hours in Miami I was rebooked on good old AA to LHR.....so please JetBlue get your domestic product up to standard as well otherwise a lot of people will never see that beautiful Mint product.
@@thedesignairvideo AA B777 is a solid businessclass...nothing fancy or hip..but functional and no surprises. Food and service all on good standard..the hot fudge Sundae is the best desert in the sky :)
