JetBlue, Southwest planes narrowly avoid colliding on DC runway 

A Southwest plane had received permission to cross a runway at Reagan National Airport while a JetBlue flight was beginning its takeoff roll on the same runway. NBC’s Sam Brock reports for TODAY on the close call that left the aircrafts coming within 1,000 feet of each other.
