That was very very awsome. Did you clear away all garbage and dirt from front before trial run ? You have a shoe or sock get sucked into it. Wow very impressive.
Also, a potential leaf ignitor!! Exhaust temps reach around 750 degrees. LOL> It's also a good way to fend off other drivers from taking your parking spot.
Very kool. Wren turbines and jetcatusa have come out with a two-stage gas turbine engine with gearbox, that you can install in 1/8th scale, radio-controlled boats. On youtube, log onto "Miss. Budweiser Hydroplane." Scroll down on your screen and click onto "Miniature Gas Turbine Boat." It has a two minute exhibit. Turn up the volume.
It runs on k1 kerosene or jet A1. In simple terms all you have to do is spin it so you get an airflow through the engine. Then you spray some propane gas into the combustion chamber and strike it, then once it's lit a fuel pump pumps the k1 into the engine and you take the propane away. Some of the new engines will light up just on kerosene alone. An atomiser is used to vaporise the fuel.
sounds like our 1988 kirby vacum cleaner, is this for RC planes or just a hobby leading to you working for Rolls Royce or GE , or maybe the the most powerful compact leaf blower on the market
they monitor the rpm, temperature battery voltage and so on. If one these things fault like the turbine over heats the ECU ( electronic control unit) will shut the turbine down and stop it from damaging the turbine
I'm not sure, but i think that the combustion chamber should be warmed up before ignition, so the liquid fuel turns to gas(vapor), which is easier to ignite.
Guys, I want to ask, if there is a possibility to make an RC supersonic and if someone can affect the power of a turbine like that on thrust issues. Btw, this one is really powerful. Liked!
